Soccer services. Known to many, as the Harlem Globetrotters of soccer, Futboleros are
comprised of highly professional skilled freestylers who perform amazing soccer tricks,
while incorporating interactions with our fan base. Our freestyle soccer performances
consist of extraordinary juggling skills, gluing people of all kinds, to experience a high-
energy show.
Founder, James Ortega, was born in Quito, Ecuador. He was raised in Meriden,
Connecticut with his family, where soccer was a part of their everyday life. James had
a vision to entertain the soccer world with more then just playing soccer. He recognized
and cultivated his talent off the field to intrigue people by juggling a soccer ball, in a
unique way. He mastered the secrets of juggling and produced his own instructional
video in 2008. He performs at over 200 events nation wide, which range from private
parties to major corporate events. Futboleros are the head of entertainment for the LA
Galaxy. They perform and interact with fans at every home game, during pre-game and
half time shows. James biggest accomplishment was marching in the New Year’s Day
2014 Rose Parade on behalf of AYSO and the City of Torrance.
James passion is not only entertaining or performing, but teaching what he loves. He
has created a one of a kind Soccer Academy based on Total Ball Control. The Academy
concentrates on juggling, freestyling, soccer tricks, 3v3 soccer games and soccer tennis.
James and the Futboleros continue to keep their fan base entertained. They look forward
to the upcoming events and are thankful for all the support.
