Mediante esta aplicación podrás recorrer el Castillo de San Marcos, ejemplo de arquitectura defensiva de los siglos XIV a XVIII situado en Huelva sobre la raya de España con Portugal, en el estado en el que su restauración dejará este enclave a finales de 2013.El recorrido permitirá visitar los diversos elementos que componen la fortificación y conseguir información complementaria pulsando los iconos que encontrarás en el recorrido.
El objetivo de la aplicación RIVI (Recurso de Inmersión Virtual Interactiva) es hacer posible el recorrido a voluntad del usuario por una realidad virtual mediante el empleo de dispositivos móviles. Entre sus funciones está la de ofrecer una Medida Compensatoria de Accesibilidad al Patrimonio Cultural para personas con discapacidad.
La utilización del RIVI fue objeto de presentación en el Seminario de Accesibilidad al Patrimonio Cultural del Instituto Andaluz de Patrimonio Histórico (Sevilla, 2011) y objeto de ponencia en el IV Congreso Internacional de Arqueología Virtual (Sevilla, 2012), único recurso presentado con estas características.
El desarrollo de esta aplicación ha sido cofinanciado por el Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte del Gobierno de España.
