Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

4 ★It has gotten harder to use.
1 ★Consistently gives an error message that the data can not be saved. Both for counts and site info updates. Uninstall, reinstall is no help. Would be a really helpful app if working. Please fix.
5 ★Great App. Works smoothly to report feeder visits. I enjoy using it.
1 ★The app was useful for quickly entering my Project FeederWatch observations until around early January 2024 at that point the app stopped functioning entirely. The logo and a message reading checking for server appears briefly then the screen is blank white. Problems remain after Uninstalling and reinstalling. I have been delaying entering my observations on the browser in turn I have forgotten details of interesting details I would have input in real time on the app.
1 ★Cannot submit counts freezes. Have installed and tried to use on my phone and tablets, same problem.
1 ★App crashes and locks up frequently. New mammal and descriptive features don't work.
2 ★Error message: "Looks like we're having trouble getting connected to FeederWatch" with the option to "Try again" or "Log out" is the only thing the app does. Tried multiple fixes to restore the app without success.
4 ★This is a great app! Very easy to use. A little glitchy here and there; but it is still a great app. Love being a participant of Project Feederwatch!
2 ★App continually logs me out everything I open it. When I attempt to login it tells me my password is incorrect and I have to reset I. Once I get in the app is great to use. I'm using a Samsung A70
3 ★The app keeps logging me out (super annoying) and doesn't seem to try to access my saved passwords. So I have to go look up my password everytime. (Also super annoying.) Had to make a basic password that's easy to remember. Other than that, the app is great once you get into it. Using a Pixel 6.
