A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★It is like Americas cup coverage for free. The latest version is a nice improvement. We use this in our yacht club to get the blow by blow. While the boat to boat distances can be odd when on a reach, it has been a really great tool for improving our team performance throughout the year by showing us where we were in sync or not with the wind shifts.
5 ★Great App. Well implemented.
5 ★The video upload feature is really cool. I wish they would save your offset hours for GMT (timezone) so movies would default to the right time. The recording and playback are very cool, especially when others use it.
5 ★A really clever app; still room for improvement, but a great start. You could not wish for a more responsive development team.
1 ★It looks like it could be promising, however it is very frustrating to use and after 1. No real instruction manual 2. User interface very limited and unclear 3.no idea how to create new and separate tracks 4. no 2d replay, replay can only be done in Google Earth on a Windows PC, no replay on the phone 5. 3D replay extremely slow to load, my latest attempt has taken over an hour and is just sitting doing nothing, no error messages. 6. No apparent support, questions in forum not responded to. same file 7. no way to create and save a new track/regatta on the phone, no idea how it gets named on the web interface
3 ★I love the app but agree with Jeremy. We did a regatta this weekend and half the boats tried to upload on wifi in the club after the race the phone did nothing and now I'm doing a forensics job on the phone trying the hack the .csv so I can upload it to the site manually. if the home screen showed "Tracks" and showed the status of each upload with "uploading" " failed" and "upload" with the ability to retry uploading a track that failed to upload for some reason (even days later). That in my mind would be a huge improvement for this app. I assume that the IOS version suffers from the same issue. I hope this feedback is constructive. Thanks, Ryan
1 ★This app has great promise, but it has huge problems that need fixing. 1) It will record tracks just fine, but the options for saving that track are "upload", there is no save-to-phone feature so you can upload it later. This is a major flaw in my opinion. 2) If you hit "upload track" when you're done recording a track and for any reason you do not have data-service at the time (common enough when you're on the water), the track is LOST FOREVER. This is horrible. FIX THIS. I have lost several tracks already because when the race is over, I hit "upload" and the app can't upload. Instead of simply saving the track to a file on the phone, it literally vanishes into the ether. This app again has great promise, but the track uploading needs to be fixed, give us the OPTION of saving the tracks to the phone so we can upload them LATER.
5 ★Great app for tracking your races. Simple to use. Make sure GPS is on and click 'start' - then at the end of the sail click 'end' (or finish). Try and orient your phone so the top is facing towards the bow, so that the orientation of your boat is captured correctly. You can now preview your track when you get back to the boat right on your phone. Or go to the website, and use the 3D viewer and compare your speed and course with other raceqs users. We use it to track our practice days with our F18 fleet.
5 ★Very cool app! It allow to record your race. Web site is even better. You can review the whole race after log upload. You can easily see your mistakes during the race.
5 ★it really is extremely cool – as close to America’s Cup graphics as we’re ever going to get for everyday races. We use it in our J24 races and it really shows how boats win races. Even after 4 or 5 weeks I am still discovering ways to use it!! The polar plot is a a fantastic way to see how well you are steering. I love the preset start time feature - you don't have to worry about starting the app during the pre-start sequence. We show replays at the bar after the race and everyone stays inside to look. Highly recommended!!
4 ★A great app at an even better price - FREE. It is easy to use; set-it-and-forget-it type of approach; only a few clicks to operate; intuitive layout and interface; developers are eager to listen to users and address concerns or issues.
5 ★We have been using RaceQs during our one-design fleet races. It is a great way to review a race and debrief with your crew. The more boats in the fleet that use the app, the better it is for all. We learn more ways to use RaceQs every time we sail. We highly recommend RaceQs.
