5 ★This is an excellent and well-thought out game! Storyline is inviting and engaging! Bug-free gaming experience with plenty of things to do and adventures to go on. Takes me back to good old days when hanging out with friends! Keep up the great work! Not really a clicker game. Better than that imo! It is a simple game, but highly enjoyable and easy to learn!
2 ★An ambitious game with interesting base mechanics and actually challenging. Unfortunately the execution is extremely flawed. The prevalence of one hit kills eliminates most strategic options, and makes it a battle to strike first. The mana gathering system is completely at odds with that, often taking 6 or more turns of just walking in circles while trying to stay out of range so you can use all your skills at once to one hit the entire enemy team. With more balanced dmg and hp, it could be good
2 ★Allow me to elaborate on my previous comment, each turn the characters move like they are trudging through mud. Combat per turn, the animations are not fluid and seem drawn out. That's what I mean by a "slow" turn based game. Final fantasy 1 back in 1987 had a more fluid, faster combat system although this game looks better. Thanks for the smart, snarky response
1 ★Play for 5 minutes, heroes get annihilated in one strike, then wait 20 minutes for them to heal before you can play again. You don't even get time to learn how the mechanics work. Devs, do you NOT see the flaw in that thinking? If I have to wait to play, I'm not going to play your game at all. I'm going to play someone else's game. This is a waste of time until the cooldown is eliminated. Avoid it.
1 ★I was hoping for something similar to Vandal Hearts but no. This is the worst game of its kind I've played. Walking round a battlefield picking up energy during a fight makes absolutely no sense, maps are flat and basic, just 4 battles in & you face enemies that kill with one hit, build timers way too long and a tutorial that explains about a quarter of what you need to know. A collection of bad ideas poorly executed.
2 ★Squandered design potential. The mana collection mechanic is satisfying. Sadly at times, your character is left collecting superfluous elements that don't charge key abilities. Terrain obstacles and ally positioning obstruct gameplay rather than enrich it. I spent multiple rounds running my heroes in circles due to an abyss, or wasting movement points due to lack of space. Needs a confirmation button for turn skip. I rage quitted after accidentally selecting the hourglass when moving a hero.
3 ★Quick initial feedback. The idea is solid & can be fun. Combat system is quirky. Kills the fun for me. Power-up counters orientation is not align with combat strike counters - square vs diamond. I find it difficult to quickly scan the counters to see if I have collected enough power- ups because of the different orientation. Prefer a combined counter per strike. Also prefer creating a path for movements instead of tapping one square at a time. I like the turn carousel to strategize the moves.
4 ★Great new RPG turn based game, where strategies change at every corner and building energy for skills/spells are as much as a strategy as the battle play is. Double the brain power double the fun. Unachievable 5th star for me because base layout is set. Will we able to move buildings and change our layout in the future? Wish that was more interactive.
5 ★Very nicely balanced turn based strategy, challenging and fun. I enjoy playing it, need to have a good understanding of strategy and tactic to win battles. Great variety of fantasy heroes, orcs, elves, mages to go on war with. The graphics are amazing.
5 ★One of the most carefully crafted HMM-related games. Tactic phase is more specific, somehow reminds me a sophisticated chess game. Map phase is much farther from HMM, but is still about progress and resources. Many activity types, and really not very purse-hungry gameplay. Cons: Artifacts feature is peculiar and not so crafted and convinient
5 ★Dang good concept, combining strategic movement and use of abilities. Above all, in an internet full of re-skinned copies...it's an original game. Takes a bit of play to learn your way around, but that adds to the challenge. Well done guys!
4 ★4 stars just because it is really pretty and a bit unusual. Units move sooo slow I just gave up at some point. Gameplay is not yet balanced. Start is easy, then it suddenly becomes very complicated. Then easy again.
