Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★I use this to control MC27 for music. App works super well for playing, pausing, forwarding, or reversing the tracks if you want those functions when you are away from your computer. Otherwise, it's basically worthless, especially for the amount of money they charge. - You can't save a song to a playlist (the long press mentioned in another post seems awkward after several seconds without any response) - If you update the rating of the song, it rarely will actually update the rating on the computer - I have to open the app every time my screen goes dark. It hates being available for use For .99, this would be fantastic as I do enjoy being able to control my tracks from desk - I have a work space in a different area than the computer. For the price charged, you're better off getting the extra steps in.
1 ★No proper information to setup the remote controller.. I use JRiver Media Center v27.0.66 (trial pack) on my new Intel i7 NUC. I tried connecting using IP address but failed.. pls help me with proper guide.. i just initiated refund and uninstalled. I will buy jriver only if the remote control works over my android mobile.
1 ★Not good. retrograde to first version. no artist bio. slow to middling development.
5 ★Great app, but the price is for 1 device only, I think, I did not manage to install it on my second phone without the need to buy it again.
1 ★Almost unusable if a good part of your listening is of classical music. On a phone the basic screen is 3 x 4 albums with only one line of text--and only full words allowed. So you can see "Beethoven" but nothing else. Much wasted space where space is at a premium. Compare with Eos (great alternative written for JRiver program, though no longer available) which has 3 x 5 albums same size, with much better use of space, AND two lines of text. So I can see: "Beethoven - Piano Concerto 5 - Fleish..." JRiver should have started with Eos code and gone on from there. Now they have their second Remote failure in a row. The waste of screen space continues as you move from the album icons into the sound files. Ravel's Daphnis ballet as seen on Eos, for example, lists 12 parts and more on the screen. JRver lists 7 and lots of blank screen. You have to scroll to see the rest. It's just a bit silly IMO. Mobile phone screen space is valuable; it should be used efficiently. ---Developer replies that he gets more albums on his screen. But he has a bigger phone! Also you can change the size of the albums. My comparisons were for same size albums on the same phone.
3 ★Pretty good Remote, but still unable to save a song to playlist. Yes, I tried that press and hold option, then selected save to playlist but nothing happens. (Responding to the reply posted).
2 ★Faster loading and navigation than original, but with a lot less functions.
2 ★Fairly average and no significant changes. Still same old connection issues
5 ★Lovely. Very close to the desktop experience
5 ★Loved the first version, this one does what I need as well.
