1 ★wonderful game, thoroughly enjoy playing it, however, almost a year in and im exhausted... Its all about how much money you can spend and those that can't pay never catch up because they are constantly releasing new ways to spend money on stats... It would be one thing if these items were available without money, but they are not, thus 1 star... save your time and money and DO NOT PLAY! Edit: Also, enough with the canned responses that are an outright LIE.
3 ★it's fun, but there are several problems. besides the fact it is a pay to win, the other problem is eventually a kingdom gets stale. it is full of big castles and new castles, if there ever are any, dont stand a chance. and people leave over time so you are stuck with a castle in a kingdom without much action. they should look into combining some kingdoms.
1 ★Extremely dysfunctional update v7.9.0 if you have a Samsung. I've not been able to load the app and get on the game in over a week. It freezes on the initial loading screen, then kicks you out to your home screen. I have tried clearing the cache while in Airplane mode and restarting my phone. All dead ends. Very disappointing considering I play this with my hubby who is currently stationed 4000 miles away.
4 ★Being new to the game, there's alot to do and learn. Descriptions can be vague making it a little difficult to understand the purpose of something. I had appointed guards when I started, with the new system, I am unable to appoint guards, no button. Have reached out to support with no response. Can consume alot of money, doesn't seem right to spend alot to succeed.
2 ★Game that I spent my birthday google play gift card money on, Keeps you busy and helps pass the time. Tons of stuff to do in game. However, purchased items are hit and miss on delivery both with real world money, in game currencies. Very frustrating when you don't get the items you paid for. Sometimes you get gifts that don't show up either, so I uninstalled. Of course the developer will not refund anything because "there were no system errors", etc. Support was also not very responsive. I like the friends I made and the mods were good, but the game was too frustrating to continue trying to get what I paid for so I uninstalled anyway. Also, the packets you pay for are not always what they appear to be, so look closely at the ad and then check to see if you received it after every purchase. Buyer Be Aware...
1 ★Great game, but the developers ruin it by running ads showing gameplay from something else entirely. There is no need to do anything more than advertise it honestly. They are playing the ads on YouTube constantly. Shows gameplay from several different games. One of which has WW1 setting. I hit the thumbs down and report to YouTube, but they keep playing the ads.
1 ★My issue is in not getting the packages I paid for, and then getting a run around in trying to resolve the matter. I did buy upgrades. There was a glitch when my bank's fraud detection system put a hold on my card. When I contacted my bank and verified the purchase the funds were cleared but the packages were never sent to the game. The in-app contact took weeks to get back to me to say, contact Google Play. I contacted Google Play and was told to contact the developer. I only want the purchases
1 ★Version 7.9.0 is GARBAGE. I have to sign in 15 times before the app will actually completely load and then not freeze when I tap on the screen. It has gotten progressively worse and doesn't seem like anything is being done about the loading problems. It is a very serious issue when you can be attacked and all your hard work and not to mention money you vested in the game is for nothing. Please fix asap, it is going to cause me to quit if the issue causes serious losses because I cannot sign in
1 ★Once you get to level 16, plan on spending money to advance. You shouldn't be able to attack players any more than 3 or 4 levels below you. Every time I get close to enough resources to upgrade, I get attacked and lose everything. Not worth the frustration. UPDATE. A game (yes, this one) where you are constantly rebuilding really isn't any fun. I spent all the gold I acquired trying to upgrade, got attacked before I could upgrade and lost everything. Deleted the game.
4 ★Phenomenal game play. I sincerely recommend Joining an alliance. It's much easier 2 progress with their help & support. Folks play from all around the world. Communication is easy, translate by clicking one button. Love the game play however as you get higher in levels, upgrade costs (resource costs) are over the top. I understand this game is designed to make you money but the pay pay pay is never ending. Our is so very hard to progress and grow without continuing to pay.
2 ★Really enjoyed game but unapologetically pay to win. Would love to find a game with same concept but more like a subscription game with no in game purchases. If you're not a spender you rely on spenders. Eventually everyone either quits or talks about quitting like the games a bad drug. Back to back Airship upgrade followed by guard upgrades ruined it for me. Basically a new game but not in a good way. The game has so many cool aspects. would be better if it eliminated ptw for war strategy.
5 ★Really enjoy this game!! It's fun and great for when you're unwinding. Not extra hard or extra easy either. Great rewards system. And you don't HAVE to buy coins or packages in order to play the game or advance. I have been able to quickly and easily obtain resources from battles and beast attacks. Being in an awesome alliance makes it even better because they'll help you build and succeed too.
