3 ★The classic Tropico experience brought to life on mobile. Nearly identical to the PC version of Tropico 3, which is a good thing considering how good that game was. Only problems are the overly sensitive and terrible camera controls that make it way harder to build things than it should be. Some new content updates would be nice too considering the last update was a minor fix back in early 2019. Considering the price, these issues should have been fixed as of now.
1 ★Cool concept, terrible experience. I have a samsung galaxy and this game does not work. Its laggy & glitchy. It freezes & you have to push the same button atleast 3 times for it to register. I love the idea of paying for a game outright, without micro transactions & pay to win features.... if the game works. I think the price should be lowered dramatically until the game runs smoothly & is playable. Thankfully google play was able to refund me on the purchase.
5 ★Been playing this game for the past week, the game works perfectly on Huawei MatePad Pro. Despite a lot of reviews complaining about the controls, I thought the controls are great (zoom, rotate, tilt, scroll). But I can see why those who plays on a phone would complain, because the screen is too small! Overall, I experienced no issue with gameplay. Best game I ever bought! Love it!
5 ★This is the best thing to ever happen to mobile games. If you are a tropico fan this is a must have. I've been playing since tropico first came out and this is a perfect addition. The graphics are still gorgeous. Placing buildings is easy especially with the new architect mode. Being able to see distances between important buildings makes it easy to plan the layout of your island. Having more control over El Presidente is fantastic. Nothing has felt clunky or frustrating. Mobile game of the year
4 ★Tropico for mobile is an absolute hidden gem in its own right to have and play on the go and I love it. It has nearly every element that you'd expect from the original and newer pc versions of the game and it surprisingly works great even on modern unsupported devices. My only complaints would be that the controls are slightly annoying when building and especially placing roads, doesn't seem to have age advancement, no traffic lights or stop signs at intersections, and not much space to build..
5 ★Gameplay: I did hated the controls for the first hours... nearly went to refund! , but you get used to the UI very quick, now I love it, is actually very intuitive and it has some tricks like the wheel and the fingers movement Pros: 10/10 game, music , worth the cash Cons: You'll need a longer battery, My device has problems when reaching 500 it slows down a bit its a 845 Just give it a try ;) There's a gesture that you have to do in the UI to cheat, cool but I would much rather a Cheat Menu!
5 ★I've always loved Tropico and this captures it perfectly, one of the best mobile games I've ever played, no interruptions by monetization schemes or other nonsense!
3 ★Love the game. Nice to see these types of game for the phone. Pros and cons -great graphics. - very detailed and in depth gameplay. - controls are not clunky or frustrating by any means. Like any new game just have to get use to it -pricey for a game that doesn't seem to have the basics covered. -dont bother saving because reloading is not an option. Glitches and does not load. Kinda pointless for a game that takes so much time, makes replay value drop. All in all good but needs work.
1 ★It's a nice game, but the controls ruined my experience. It is quite frustrating to zoom in and out or rotate the camera, as well as build anything in the spot that you want. I am not sure if it is just user error, or just clumsy controls, but it makes it a perfect game for masochists. The actual game seems to be quite enjoyable, but I can't bring myself up to open this app again due to the painful experience.
5 ★I've played 4 scenarios so far and I'm really enjoying the game. I wish they would allow us to adjust the difficulty. While I enjoy a challenge, sometimes I want to dial back the intensity and have more fun with my island. I will be playing this game for a while. Recommended if you are a Tropico fan and a fan of mobile games but are tired of the games companies play by making you pay to win.
