El Violentometro es un material didáctico de reflexión, sensibilización y diagnóstico, se presenta como una aplicación para dispositivos de sistema Android, elaborado por la Unidad Politécnica de Gestión con Perspectiva de Género, que contribuye al cumplimiento del IPN frente a los compromisos nacionales e internacionales en materia de igualdad de género.Derivado del material de sensibilización “Violentometro”, mantiene como objetivo el visibilizar las diferentes manifestaciones de violencia que se encuentran ocultas en la vida cotidiana tanto de mujeres como de hombres, con la finalidad de estar alertas y detectar prácticas violentas en las relaciones interpersonales.
Se conforma de un cuestionario de 30 preguntas, dividas en tres secciones que tiene como opciones de respuesta “Sí” y “No”, cada respuesta afirmativa es contabilizada, en la primera sección con un punto, en la segunda con 5 puntos y en la tercera sección con 10 puntos, para un total de 160 puntos, siendo la mayoría de éstos (100 puntos) obtenidos por respuestas afirmativas de la tercera sección. La puntuación se eleva entre los bloques debido a que la peligrosidad que se propone en cada situación va en aumento.
El diagnóstico se despliega a través de recomendaciones correspondientes a 4 etapas, que van de la más a la menos optimista, con base a la cantidad de puntos obtenidos.
