Erie Suzan lahir di Lamongan tanggal 30 Desember 1978. Diawali karena sering diminta menggantikan kakaknya untuk latihan nyanyi, kemudian menjuarai beberapa festival menyanyi rock, pop dan dangdut di Jawa Timur. Ia kemudian hijrah ke Jakarta karena mendapat hadiah rekaman sebagai juara 1 salah satu Festival Rock se-Jawa Timur, namun akhirnya ditunda karena usianya yang masih sangat kecil. Masa penantian ini membawanya menjadi penyanyi pengiring pada show musik beberapa artis, seperti Slank, Anggun C. Sasmi dan Yossy Lucky.Terlalu lama tak ada kepastian untuk rekaman, Erie memutuskan untuk kembali ke Lamongan, karena biaya hidup di Jakarta yang tinggi. Namun, dua hari menjelang kepulangannya ke Jawa Timur, Erie mengikuti Festival Dangdut se-Jabotabek dan berhasil menjadi juara 1 dan mendapat piala dari Rhoma Irama. Seorang produser langsung tertarik untuk merekam sebuah album dangdut pertama Erie Suzan yang berjudul “Mabuk Duit” pada tahun 1993 dan saat itu Erie Suzan masih SMP kelas 2.
Setelah itu beberapa hits dangdut seperti “Jangan Buang Waktuku”, “Muara Kasih Bunda”, telah dihasilkannya. Tidak berhenti sampai di situ, beberapa single hits duet di antaranya bersama Yus Yunus, Alm. Abiem Ngesti, Alm. Farid Harja, Adibal dan Beniqno kembali dihasilkan. Dua album trio lainnya adalah bersama Ikke Nurjanah, Mila Rosa, Iis Dahlia dan Dewi Purwanti. Karyanya terakhir adalah Album D’Duta (8 Diva Dangdut Indonesia), yang di dalamnya terdapat hits single “Tak Bisa Menunggu” dan “Sabda Cinta” duet bersama Iyeth Bustami.
