Selain bermusik, Tommy juga pernah terjun di dunia akting. Ia menjadi aktor utama film romantis Kamus Cinta Sang Primadona yang rilispada 1988. Dalam film tersebut Tommy berakting dengan Connie Constantia, Agyl Syahriar, Anie Carera, Ida Kusumah, dan Sylvana Herman.
