How to install The Mission APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download The Mission APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.nixon.insider-v1.1.6-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. 4 ★**Latest update seems to have fixed all issues with watch-faces and surf/ski features... Thanks guys! Works great but has so, soo much more potential... Please implement features to take advantage of all the watches sensors like Casio does; every single third party app that aims to do this sucks. A few more watchfaces would be appreciated but isn't absolutely vital.
1 ★So precious issues of my phone not sending smdata to the watch have been corrected, but now this app only connects to the internet sporadically, saying my phone doesn't have a connection. BS. My phone always has a connection, either 4G or WiFi. This translates into big blank complications where weather or surf spot info should be displayed. Neither has been functional for at least the past 6 weeks. The watch itself is great. This is a review of the app however, and it's not a great one.
2 ★Latest update 1.6 - complications still don't work, next agenda complication shows nothing or skips events. If I switch to the Google Fit watch face, all complications work perfect! Nixon please just let us use the Google complications please and your watch faces would be great!
3 ★*EDIT* Since being upgraded to the 2.1 version of the Wear OS, the app is functioning normally now. It's back to being decent companion to my Mission watch. (Previous Review) The last update broke The Mission watch face, and the Mission Pro face. Please update! *Found a Temporary work around. Go into Settings on the watch, then Apps and Notifications, then App Info, then System Apps. Click on The Mission, and then Uninstall Updates. This works. Until the next forced update. Just uninstall again.*
1 ★I love this watch and the hardware (except that the orange has worn off parts of the NON-replaceable bezel after two months and it looks crappy). The app and watch faces are garbage. THe app constantly doesn't update my watch face for the swells and about every two weeks will just stop feeding data at all, requiring a factory reset of the watch to work again.
1 ★The Mission and The Mission Pro watch faces keep going blank. I often have to wipe the app's data after an update to get it working again. Testing of the app for quality before releasing seems to be a big gap. Like the display and data provided by the app. Hope it keeps improving, but so far I have only seen bugs and bug fixes. It seems like the app has been abandoned now with no updates in over a year. None of my surf spots even load on the Android app, let alone the watch. It's real sad.
