A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★will give more useful feedback. I have only tried to log an indoor climb, so can't speak for any other areas on the app. It is very busy and hard to navigate, as seemingly everything is a link. It doesn't notify you or change screen when you have logged a climb, with only options to share or edit. This means I logged the same climb multiple times before hitting back and realising it had captured each log attempt.
1 ★Facebook login wouldn't work. Took me to a blank screen with a blue bar that said "Login with Facebook", but couldn't click on it. The bar also had a <- arrow that took me back to the login screen. Tried to register manually but it said my email was already in use...guess I won't be using this app. First Google App review btw
1 ★I've installed this app twice, about a year ago and recently again. The reason I remove the app initially was because I noticed it would drain the battery of my phone significantly and although it did offer some interesting features I didn't think it was worth it. Recently installing the app the battery usage seems to have been improved the but the app feels like what is basically a glorified post-it noting which routes you've climbed. Generally I find navigating within the app confusing at best, things that I would think I can click are not, searching for other gyms or adding them is confusing. Just generally navigating through the app is confusing, hitting the back button and accidentally leaving the app while expecting to go back to the previous screen is frustrating. There seems to be no way of creating a personal list (circuit) of routes I want to climb and circuits only seem to be applicable for a single session. Earlier today I heard that the gym reservations are going to be run run VL as well for the gyms I frequent. This is something I especially despise as now I'm forced to use this app. I don't see the added value of this app or why I would pay for this app on top of a gym membership.
4 ★I'd really appreciate if you could clarify something. In the training it says 2 attempts. Does this mean 2 attempts at completing each boulder or do it twice. Your direction mixed with your UI is a little confusing. Also be great to have some images or videos to go with the exercises. You also don't state reps or sets for most of them. For example it explains how to do a step lunge woth rotation bit then doesbt say how many or how long to hold it or anything like that. Pretty crucial info
3 ★After the update it is hard to find the indoor routes you have climbed. Previously, the routes were painted much more precisely - you could see the lines exactly. Now a whole wall is just painted in a specific colour, or all lines are just indicated next to each other w/o showing the look of the line. When you figured out you have zlagged the wrong route, it is hard to unzlag. It used to be fun. Not anymore... I am not talking about climbing history tracking btw.
1 ★I downloaded the app and redeemed a voucher for the filidor climbing guidebook. Still, all I could see was just a list with the names of the crags from the guidebook but for all the information I needed to upgrade to a premium account. Why doing so when I already paid for the book? As I was solely looking to possibly substitute carrying the book in some instances, the app was not useful at all
1 ★Now another app ripping you off with a subscription model. With the last update topo I had already purchased got converted to a subscription, which will expire in 3 years. The remaining credit I had on my account (should have warned me in the first place that I had to buy credit, to then buy items) also got converted to a subscription. How is this even legal? I will never again spend any cent on products of this shady company!
1 ★Made my way to a new bouldering spot today, downloaded the guide at home. When I arrived I had zero access to any information, the app showed a beautiful blank page. If there had not been another climber this morning I would have been totally lost and would have blown one of the few precious climbing days of this year. This app has to be way more reliable!
4 ★Edit: Regained access to my purchases again after app uodate. App seems greatly improved now. But: Why will I only be allowed to use my purchased content for three years after the subscription system will have started? I paid for the use of this content by buying the books with codes/paying for your credits and it would be simple for you to fully exclude the purchased content from a need for a subscription.
1 ★App won't allow me to log in, just says "An error occured, please log in again through your application". There also appears to be a lack of use of the app in Australia. The app may be great (I'm sure it is), but not when I can't use half the features because I cant sign in or there isn't any use of it in my local area.
3 ★I originally gave this app 5* but after learning about their subscription model I have downgraded. In my opinion, whilst the app is good, the subscription model is vastly over priced, rendering the app useless unless you subscribe. It would be more useful to be able to purchase crags individually. I also bought a book whose unlocked content on the app will annoyingly expire after 3 years.
1 ★I have a guide book with a voucher included but hadn't gotten around to trying the app. Tried today and looks like the voucher expired last year, the book doesn't show any expiration date either... pretty sure that's illegal in California... but either way I didn't get to try the app so the one star is more for the service than the app content. I like your concept but hopefully you can execute better in the future.
