ความรุนแรงที่เกิดขึ้นในครอบครัวเป็นปัญหาที่ไม่ควรถูกมองข้าม ไม่ว่าจะเป็นความรุนแรงทางจิตใจ ทางร่างกาย และหรือทางเพศ ปฎิเสธไม่ได้ว่ามีผู้ที่ประสบปัญหาในชีวิตคู่ไม่ทราบถึงช่องทางการช่วยเหลือหรือช่องทางการให้การปรึกษา ทีมนักวิจัยจากวิทยาลัยวิทยาศาสตร์สาธารณสุข จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย จึงได้ร่วมกันพัฒนาแอปพลิเคชันสำหรับวัดความสัมพันธ์/ความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ได้ด้วยตนเอง (iCanPlan) พร้อมทั้งสามารถสืบค้นช่องทางการช่วยเหลือเบื้องต้นในภูมิภาคที่ผู้ใช้แอปพลิเคชันอาศัยอยู่ ภายใต้โครงการวิจัยเรื่อง “การพัฒนาโมบายแอปพลิเคชันการวัดระดับความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ด้วยตนเองและช่องทางการช่วยเหลือ” (ทุนงบประมาณแผ่นดิน ประจำปี 2561)แบบวัดความสัมพันธ์/ความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ ประกอบไปด้วยข้อคำถามรวม 30 ข้อ ที่ครอบคลุมปัญหาความรุนแรงทางด้านร่างกาย จิตใจ และทางเพศ หลังจากตอบคำถามเรียบร้อยแล้ว ผู้ใช้จะได้รับผลการประเมินและคำแนะนำในเบื้องต้น พร้อมทั้งช่องทางการสืบค้นการช่วยเหลือเบื้องต้น ทั้งนี้ผู้ที่จะประเมินความสัมพันธ์ในชีวิตคู่ได้ด้วยตนเองนั้น คือ ผู้ที่อายุตั้งแต่ 18 ปีขึ้นไป และมีคู่อยู่กินหรือเคยมีคู่อยู่กินในช่วง 12 เดือนที่ผ่านมา สำหรับประชาชนทั่วไปสามารถเข้าสืบค้นช่องทางการช่วยเหลือโดยไม่ต้องประเมินความสัมพันธ์ในชีวิตคู่และหรือสามารถอ่านข้อมูลความรู้ทั่วไปเกี่ยวกับความความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ได้
