Description

Master the streets, one drive at a time

It’s time for you to hit the road and embark on a real-time driving quest to become Master of the Streets. Not only will HighwayHero™ give you extra bragging rights amongst your friends and family, but it will also enable you to become a better, smarter driver.

HOW IT WORKS:
• HighwayHero automatically detects when driving starts and stops by using phone sensors to measure your vehicle’s driving dynamics.
• It shows you trip summaries, maneuvers details, and provides useful feedback to help amp up your driving skills.
• It also acts as a low-power logger of all of your driving trips by using low-power sensing methods which also help reduce battery consumption.

Note: HighwayHero runs in the background and uses GPS. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Awesome!!

3 ★The app works well, which is why I gave it three stars, but the premise is flawed. Your score gets better when you brake, corner, and accelerate gently and don't exceed speed limits. Sounds great, right? The trouble is sometimes in the course of everyday driving you do have to brake quickly through no fault of your own, and your score then gets worse. If a child runs in front of you and you run over him, but stop gently after that you will be rated better than someone who slams on their brakes and misses him. There are also times when rapid acceleration is called for, and not doing it would be unsafe. It is also true that rural drivers have a distinct advantage as far as their scoring is concerned. If you don't have to drive on an interstate with an artificially low speed limit you are going to score better for not speeding than someone who does. There is a certain amount of fun in checking your score and watching it go up, but a good score doesn't necessarily equate to good driving, so what is the point?
