Kang Uum Syarif Usman, adalah Ketua DPD Partai Amanat Nasional Kota Bandung periode 2015-2020 yang juga Calon Anggota DPRD Kota Bandung Dapil 1 (Kec. Andir, Cicendo, Sukajadi & Sukasari) nomor urut 1.Politisi yang berangkat dari warga masyarakat biasa dan bukan siapa-siapa ini dibesarkan di lingkungan yang mendukungnya menjadi aktivis dan organisatoris sejak dini. Kecakapan berorganisasinya mengantarkan alumni UNISBA ini menduduki jabatan sejumlah organisasi tingkat nasional.
Politisi yang teguh konsisten menempuh jalur perjuangan lewat PAN sejak awal pendiriannya ini telah cukup berpengalaman menjadi anggota legislatif di DPRD Jawa Barat sejak 1999-2014. Pengalaman dan record nya ini membuat sejumlah komponen masyarakat mendorongnya untuk kembali maju sebagai Caleg.
Sejalan dengan tugas yang diembannya sebagai Pemimpin Partai di Kota Bandung, kini kang Uum tampil sebagai Calon Legislator untuk DPRD kota Bandung periode 2019-2024.
Jika warga Bandung memilihnya dan Allah menakdirkannya menjadi anggota DPRD Kota Bandung, ada 6 Prioritas Perjuangan yang akan menjadi agendanya yaitu :
1. Mengawasi Pengelolaan Anggaran yang lebih akuntabel & transparan.
2. Mendorong dibentuknya Bandung Quick Response.
3. Memperjuangkan berdirinya rumah tahfidz al Quran di setiap kecamatan.
4. Memperjuangkan pemenuhan kebutuhan infrastruktur dasar warga kota.
5. Mendorong alokasi dana advokasi rakyat bebas rentenir.
6. mendorong peningkatan fasilitasi kaum dhuáfa dan disabilitas.
Warga Bandung, khususnya yang berada di Daerah Pemilihan 1 perlu mengenal sosok pekerja keras dan ulet dalam memperjuangkan aspirasi ini. Salah satu tanda pemilu berkualitas adalah jika warga kota cukup mengenal figur kandidat legislator serta track record (rekam jejak) nya.
Jika belum ada figur Calon Anggota DPRD Kota Bandung dari Dapil 1 yang lebih kompeten dan dipercaya, sosok ayah 2 orang putera ini layak menjadi pertimbangan untuk dipilih.
