Affiche différents motifs de manière à régler ou vérifier rapidement la luminosité, le contraste, les couleurs ou l'overscan de votre TV.L'application ne fait aucun réglage, c'est à vous de faire les réglages sur votre TV. Ce n'est pas non plus une application pour un usage professionnel.
Cette application doit être utilisée sur des appareils Android TV ou des box TV basées sur Android. Elle ne sert à rien sur un téléphone, sauf si vous utilisez Chromecast ou un autre appareil de ce genre mais ce n'est pas l'usage recommandé.
Ne convient pas non plus pour les signaux HDR
Pour une première configuration:
- choisir le modèle barres noires, régler la luminosité au minimum et augmenter jusqu'à distinguer les différences de noirs.
- choisir le modèle barres blanches, régler le contraste au maximum et baisser jusqu'à distinguer les nuances de blanc.
Selon la qualité de l'écran, il est possible que certaines nuances ne soient pas visibles.
L'application permet aussi de tester une installation home-cinéma. Vous pouvez vérifier l'assignation des haut-parleurs ainsi que la phase du câblage.
Seulement pour les installation 5.1. L'appareil doit être compatible Dolby Digital AC3.
L'application dispose aussi d'un simple générateur de signal sinusoïdal.
