Arya Girls Collge as a full-fledged affiliated college came into existence in 1970. Lala Bishamber Dass, a true philanthropist a well- known businessman of Punjab and the owner of B.D.A. Steels was the founder chairman of the college. Now, under the competent Presidetship of Sh. Vinod Kumar Aggarwal and the Vice President ship of Sh. Parmod Kumar Aggarwal, the college has emerged as an operational model for value oriented education. From 1980 onwards, the college has witnessed tremendous academic and infrastructural growth and attained its present status of a postgraduate, multifaculty institution where the intellectual, physical and emotional growth of the students is fully taken care of.
