2 ★Used to be a decent app., The most recent update has put intrusive ad that interferes with normal use on the opening screen. Will be deleting once I locate a better app. UPDATE: Full screen ads removed by developer. However until ads are returned to the screen bottom instead of top, I will keep looking for a better note app. Current placement interferes with opening top note, especially on smaller screen smartphones. Simple and smooth UI is paramount.
2 ★the developer is responsive to complaints but even though i have updated my app, there are still banner ads blocking the top portion when i try to make or read notes on my phone screen. i have tried going to the sites advertised as a courtesy and checki g out each advertised site. but they pop up one after another. if this doesnt bother you...great. 2 stars for providing a spot to make notes the table of contents is partially obliterated too. so finding your note by date and title is a mess.
3 ★It was amazing until a few days ago, now it wont let me in, if this is fixed ill definitely give 5 stars. Edit: I have found a glitch! if you open the app and immediately open on of the pages, you can acces that one! its hard to do but i was able to copy the text and save my information!
2 ★I always thought of it as a really great app until recently because I cant even open up the app. It was working perfectly fine yesterday when I was using it, but now it is constantly closing. Please fix this issue soon as I have important notes kept in there that I need to access.
1 ★So, SO many adds. Everytime I open to make a note, I start typing, then after a few letters a huge imposing add opens up, taking me into my browser, and costing me a good 20/30 seconds. Doesn't sound terrible, but when I intent to scribe somethinng down to remember later, I expect it to take only a few seconds. Far too messy to be functional.
4 ★Great app that allows you to electronically write a diary of important information you don't want to forget. A downside is that you can't save this content to one drive or your email as backup. This means if you change your phone you lose all the important info forever. App developers take note.
2 ★Agree with many other users. This was a lovely, simple little app before the decision to put intrusive banner ads at the top of frame. This is now taking up far too much screen space, in a terrible choice of area and impacting the clean simplicity that i previously liked. Totally get that free apps often need ads but more thought should be put into how this is implemented. This choice smacks of favouring the advertiser's needs over the user experience. This is why I've uninstalled.
1 ★This app is really, really bad. Not only does it load ads. It takes ages to load them because it opens Google to open a scam ad. Also after using this app for a few months my internet slowed down and I just uninstalled it and now my internet is back to normal speed. So this app was sending my personal data to somewhere. Basically spyware.
1 ★I loved this app while it was working properly. since it started glitching I had to get creative and screen shot each page as fast as I could before it closed on me. I was able to save my important information before I deleted it from my phone. DON'T USE THIS APP. IT NO LONGER WORKS.
1 ★I've been using this app for several years. just today, it is failing. Once I open it, it closes almost immediately. Very frustrated 😡 as I have information in notes that I am now afraid I will lose. Yesterday I would have rated it a 4 or 5. Today we are dowm to a 1!!
1 ★Love this simple notepad! BUT I have just moved to a new phone and thseems no way to copy or backup/restore to my new phone!!! Soooo annoying!
1 ★So lately a lot of malicious links pop up every time I use the app. And only this app, its not a general problem with my phone. I'm using the app and suddenly I get notifications that my Web protection app has blocked malicious pop ups. Sometimes unfortunately they don't get caught and blocked and while I'm typing my notes I'm redirected to the browser or the play store and presented with links I never opened. I shouldn't ve just giving you a one star, I should be reporting you. What the hell
