Mobile University is a comprehensive college and scholarship search utility. With Mobile University prospective and current students can research information on more than 4,500 two year and four year college and universities within the United States. Users will be able to view comprehensive information about the school, majors offered, housing, social atmosphere, academic profile, tuition, admissions, financial aid, and athletic programs.Students can create a personal profile detailing personal and contact information, academic/test score information, and any extra-curriculum activities for which they are involved. After creating a profile, the profile can then be forwarded to a school that the student wishes to contact. In addition, the student picks and chooses which data is sent to a school.
The scholarship search engine allows the user to search over 6,500 private scholarships for which they may qualify. In addition to five canned profile-based search routines, a custom search based on several areas that may be of interest to the user can also be performed. An emailing feature allows the user to include the complete details of a scholarship as the body of an email message that can be sent to a friend or relative.
