Description

If you don't have solar panels on your home or track their performance via PVOutput then this extension is not for you.

Display your PVOutput intraday details right in DashClock. This app requires Android 4.2 and DashClock.

In the small widget size it will show your current days accumulated energy generation in watt hours.

In the large widget size it shows your current days accumulated energy generation in watt hours, your most recent power level in watts and your systems overall current efficiency (in current kW per kW installed).

For this extension to operate you must set your PVOutput API key and System ID correctly in the settings for this extension after you add it to your DashClock configuration. The extension will only display data that is less than 4 hours old, if you batch your uploads then it will only display data for 4 hours after the most recent entry in the batch upload. This extension mostly makes sense for PVOutput users who upload their data in near real time.

Pro tip: Use AirDroid to copy your API Key into your devices clipboard for error free entry or set a easy to remember read only API key via the pvoutput website.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Just spent half the day setting up raspberry pi on pvoutput then tripped over this looking for a monitor app. Outstanding!
5 ★I love this widget extension. Very glad I found this. I have one request: With this widget I can only only monitor one of my two solar arrays. Would it be possible to add the capability to monitor multiple system IDs or Teams or "Virtual Teams". I checked the pvoutput API and the "get output service" command allows the specification of a team ID. I would really, really appreciate this capability. Thanks a bunch
