2 ★The idea is wonderful, as I love singing. It is fun, but the music never lines up to the pitch lines. This can be corrected after the song is recorded, but this means you would have to sing it as you know it without listening to the music which, to me, kills a lot of the fun this app could bring. I have tried this app twice now, and it still doesn't work the way it should. I have tried many different songs and they all have this issue.
3 ★I first stumbled upon this app through Apple's platform which was pretty good. I loved it! Yet with Android's platform it's missing some key features. A main one is being able to place landmarks while singing so if u mess up you don't have to start all over, just start from the landmark. Please put this feature in. This is very disappointing, I feel like I just wasted $70 for a year subscription.
1 ★I've used this app for quite some time now...everything seemed fine...and then after the updates recently....The audio that you record of your voice is crackling, glitching, and garbling. On top of that, if you record video at the same time...you can not get it to align with your mouth...It will look like bad lip sync...🙃🙃...Yeah...and I tried the alignment tool too. Sorry...but if these issues are not sorted out on Android soon...I'm done with paying for an app to just sit on my phone...🙄
1 ★My experience in the past with this app was so desirable. I love being able to retry a challenging part in a song without having to start over. But this new update sucks. I also liked hearing myself sing while I'm recording like in past versions of the app. Now it just sucks... also what happened to the option where you could change how loud the backing vocals are? If there's an option to hear yourself while you sing I think that would be cool. Also to save your progress.
5 ★In general I love the app. I love to sing and have fun.Just a little issue that I hope you guys will fix, If I decided to listen a song, I have to keep manipulating the phone to be able to heard the total length of the recording, it is kind of annoying while you are busy doing something else. the phone closes the app.Could be my phone settings but, honestly I think is the app. please can you look into it Thanks.
1 ★Used to love this app and used it all the time, downloaded it to today to see that when youre done recording they misalign the sound so much that there is not enough room on the alignment bar (one of the settings after recording) to fix it! Never had a problem with this before but now I can't stand to hear myself played back bc it's a half second off from everything else(this is in the "join" Option so it really matters to match your partner when your sing. Overall extremely disappointed. FIX.
2 ★Neat idea, but lags so bad! Adjusting the vocals to match the tempo of the music is a huge pain and doesnt work as it should. Sometimes the pacing between the song and the moving graphic is off and it's extremely distracting. Dont worry though, even if you sing right in tune and tempo with the music, you'll still be recorded 2 seconds late, causing you to fuss with settings for 10 minutes before giving up altogether. Ugh.
1 ★Edit from my previous review - It's getting worse! Thought of giving them a chance to fix the issue of audio configuration. Now the voice lag is disastrous! Please do not spend your money on this app, It will never be fixed. Been a VIP member for 4 years. And for a few days this app is become sooooo buggy. Can't record anything. An error comes up saying - there was a problem configuring the audio. Sent multiple tickets, but no resolution. Guess they don't care anymore.
1 ★I absolutely love this app, however it has started messing up. When I sing a song it sounds crackly, and my voice doesn't match the video. It falls behind. I've tried different headphones and it still did it. I've tried a bunch of different songs and it still does it. Please help!! Update: I contacted help desk, they asked for a link to a song that isn't syncing properly, I sent it to them and they still have done nothing! I'm so frustrated!!!!
1 ★This app used to be fantastic. It has maintained a good song selection and community...however...you used to be able to manipulate your voice in a variety of ways and now you have the illusion of options. They added tons of new sliders and categories for your recordings but the only real option you have is reverb. If you record without video you will still have sliders to edit video when what you want is just the audio options. Its confusing as heck & not user friendly anymore.
2 ★I love using this app, the concept is great. The fact that for years there has been a lag for Android users when recording seems unacceptable. Everything I record is behind the beat even though it sounds on when I'm recording. Super frustrating to want to go hear your recording and then it sounds nothing like when you recorded it. If the app is not compatible with Android just say that, and put it on the Apple store 🙄
1 ★HORRIBLE . This app was a huge gift after I lost my mom and all 3 of my dogs in 1 MONTH. Singing w smule helped me heal. After last 'upgrade' the app sucks. I can't sing solo bc the music is distorted & sounds horrible. If I join someone on a duo, music sounds fine. I've sung solo n a distorted track, not easy, and it sounds find on playback. The worst is trying to get help. Customer svc is the worst. Like no one cares. About to cancel svc. Unbelievable how mgmt allowed a top app to go to hell.
