1 ★Extreme technical issues and malicious developers. App kept turning off my filters — even though I had only one filter and max distance enabled. Support told me to reinstall the whole app to try to fix it and also admitted that they will turn off your filters to show more matches. Price model is much worse than comparable apps as well, they will try and nickle & dime you.
2 ★1. More expensive than other apps - tons of oddly monetized things like revealing likes. 2. Algorithm is meh and the user base must be small because recommendations are from way outside the filtered area. 3. Weird interface that is clunky at times - for example profiles don't start at the top after you like or decline the previous person. Only plusses are the amount of interests and questions you can put in your profile.
1 ★Only 2 unblurs per day even if you pay the monthly premium subscription as opposed to other apps that allow unlimited viewings. Even if you set your advanced filters they will roll it right back to default with no way of making your filters permanent. Don't bother with this app, it's a waste of money and time.
3 ★So my rating isn't going to be for something the app designers can't control like getting matches. Instead my 3 stars is for the design, the use of ads (which are always for either Facebook or another dating app and that's just funny to me since FB doesn't need to advertise and what's the point of your app if you send people to other apps), and the overall experience. The design is just a cut and past clone of literally every dating app there is but they run video ads which is so annoying.
3 ★It's not bad but why even pay for premium then have advanced filtering which does not apply because Hily "changed filters for better results"??? Useless, filters are there for a reason, maybe I don't care if there aren't that many results but the results that show because Hily changes them aren't the ones I want to see, canceling subscription after this month and uninstalling
1 ★Not the App to use. As you are swiping left or right, after a few you already swiped show back up just different or same picture to make it seem like there is alot of people out there. Also multiple match but never ever respond or even read. I feel like this app is being ran by some with a database full of photos or fake accounts to get people to continue to pay to unblur who may have reacted to their profile. It's all fake and a waste of time and money.
1 ★Went from ok, to trash. Most recommendations are from out of state (I've set the range filter many times). The ads are out of control now. And the lack of responses vs the lines that I've matched and received make me think this app has a lot of fake profiles just to get you to pay for the "unblurs" and premium package.
3 ★The Live Stream keeps cutting out as well as the sound on the lives. I've tried fixing this problem by locking and unlocking my phone and sometimes that works, but the lives keep cutting out in the middle of my sentences while answering questions I had from other people on the app. It's great overall, just that teensy live issue could use some work. Yall are doing great otherwise!
1 ★Dudes can send u messages whenever they please. The location preference is redundant cause ppl who are in another state can still see me even though I DONT want to see them. The app really pushes the premium on you ALOT. SO MANY ADS. Even some users are hidden for no premium. Lot of features are blocked by premium pay wall. The bad outweighs the good in this app in my experience. Matched w/ profiles ive never seen which lead to unwanted interactions. Reactions on profiles ive never seen.. ew
1 ★I gave the "free trial" a go and had access to most features, but additional payments were requested right away to upgrade and that really soured me. I also didn't see anyone I would ever want to meet without a police escort - even with filters set. That was pretty disheartening. I can't recommend.
2 ★It has some really good features like compatibility test, but the rest of the app kind of sucks & is all kinds of buggy. The filters don't work, you can't click on pics to see the whole thing & zoom in, if you accidentally trap the photo twice it likes the fat uglies you didn't want to, & for some reason while browsing I listen to my music & it causes my volume to get turned down so I have to close the app & re-open it. Hily I love the concept but please fix this trash.
3 ★It's a pretty good app that regulates scammers and fake profiles pretty well, but the problem is youll be spending at least a quarter of your paycheck trying to match with someone. The unblur feature in my opinion is honestly unnecessary and you only get a few unblurs a day otherwise you have to pay too much for them. Premium is good, but there is only an option for a weekly subscription, yearly, or lifetime instead of monthly which would be easier to manage. Otherwise its better than tinder.
