L'International Music Institute è una organizzazione musicale che opera in Italia ormai da più di 30 anni.Gli allievi ospitati coprono tutte le fasce d'età e i nostri corsi - istituiti per tutti gli strumenti - vanno dalla semplice conoscenza di base alla preparazione professionale.
L'International Music Institute organizza corsi di canto e di qualsiasi strumento oltre a seminari, conferenze didattiche, musica per il cinema e numerosi master-classes.
Grande attenzione viene rivolta all'attività concertistica formando, raccogliendo e promuovendo varie formazioni sia classiche che moderne.
Contiamo di una nostra Orchestra, la "Ars Ludi", e di due Cori polifonici, i "Cantores in laetitia" e il Coro "Ottava Nota".
Dai laboratori di musica d’insieme ad indirizzo moderno nascono invece le “Band” che si esibiscono in numerosi contest di Roma.
Ultimo progetto, la nascita della Banda dell’IMI. Formatasi nel Marzo del 2011 su iniziativa dell'International Music Institute, della Pro-Loco di Colleverde e in particolare dei rispettivi presidenti Donato di Donato e Alessandro Capponi.
Dal 1985 ci siamo dedicati all'insegnamento della propedeutica musicale nell'infanzia (metodologie Orff e Dalcroze). In questo settore abbiamo ideato un nostro metodo originale e particolare: il "Progetto Mousikè: Crescere con la musica".
Dal 1995 ci occupiamo di "Aggiornamento Docenti" di Scuola dell'Infanzia, Scuola Primaria e Secondaria di primo grado, organizzando corsi regolarmente autorizzati dal Provveditorato agli studi di Roma e dal M.I.U.R., Ministero dell'Università, l'Istruzione e la ricerca.
Il 10 ottobre 2005 l'International Music Institute viene 'ACCREDITATO' dal Ministero dell'Università, l'Istruzione e la Ricerca e ottiene il riconoscimento di Ente qualificato per la Formazione e l'Aggiornamento del personale docente della Scuola.
Il 18 aprile 2006 l'I.M.I. ottiene il riconoscimento della Regione Lazio e l'inserimento nel Registro Regionale delle Associazioni.
Il 6 novembre 2006 i nostri corsi di aggiornamento e formazione ottengono il patrocinio dell'I.R.R.E. (Istituto Regionale per la Ricerca Educativa).
