"Young drivers are often faced with costly insurance premiums. HughesDrive has been created to help offer more affordable options to young drivers in Northern Ireland and depending on your driving style you can earn weekly treats!
HughesDrive is a telematics App that monitors your driving. It records metrics such as how often you drive, how far you go, your acceleration, braking, and swerving. It uses this information to calculate a personalised driving score, which you can view on your secure in-App dashboard.
Please download the App for free after purchasing a HughesDrive Telematics Policy.
If your car doesn’t have Bluetooth, simply request a Beacon in the App and it will be sent to you in the post.
If you have a green driving score over a consecutive seven-day period from Monday midday, you will be eligible for a treat! Every Monday at midday an eGift will be available in the HughesDrive App.
Next steps:
To complete the on-boarding process please complete the following steps.
1. Download and install the HughesDrive App
2. Once the App has been successfully installed, please login using your email address you provided to us when activating the policy and the password that has been emailed to you. You will be prompted to amend your password on initial login.
3. Provide photographs of the insured vehicle as instructed by the HughesDrive App.
4. Provide photographs of your photo card driving licence and paper counterpart as instructed by the HughesDrive App.
5. Complete pairing of your HughesDrive App to the insured vehicle via Bluetooth. Follow the insured vehicles Bluetooth instructions.
6. Ensure the location services are enabled on your Smartphone.

How to install HughesDrive APK on Android phone or tablet?

1 ★Utter rubbish. Two drivers on one policy, but only one account given, so phones need re-paired very time. Scores may as well come from throwing a dart. App claims it needs updates, but there are no updates. Need to reinstall every other day. Customer support are clueless. No information given on how scores are calculated. Truly unfit for purpose. If you just bought a telematics policy, good luck to you. It's high maintenance. Abysmal Hughes, just abysmal.

1 ★Very poor, bad connection with both drivers on policy. crashes every timeand you have no clue it connected and tracking. Be ready for regularthreatening letters on cancelling your policy if they dont record the tripeven though your phone app did. if you go on holidays they will call sayingyou have not recorded trips and are in breach. even if the cars locked upin a garage!!! app simply not good enough or ready for use!!

2 ★The only problem i have with the app is it crashes all the time when trying to log and almost nearly canceled my insurance if i didnt call up to my insurance to get it sorted but it still aint working please fix the problem as its affects my insurance for next year

1 ★App doesn't run at all on my Samsung s8... had to use my s6 just to openthe app and make sure that I don't lose my policy... needs an update in myopinion, needs something like the AXA app has where the app recordseverything or even if the app would tell the user that it has started torecord your journey would be helpful then people would know if it isrecording or not, I've had it now a couple of months and the app has onlyrecorded 2 weeks of my journeys... I'm using the app and have Bluetooth onwhen is drive yet nothing is being recorded. Needs a major update... infact no needs an overhaul, complete redo

1 ★Is a load of non sense you could do a journey and it will give great score and do that same journey again and could give a very bad score. Don't think it's fit for its purpose. Also shops don't no what I am talking about when I go in to claim my treat
