A Coordenadoria de Defesa Agropecuária, composta de 40 Escritórios de Defesa Agropecuária (EDAs) e 80 Inspetorias de Defesa Agropecuária (IDAs), tem como atribuições o combate, controle e erradicação de doenças e pragas das plantas e animais no Estado de São Paulo.Para auxiliar os EDAs no exercício destas atribuições, existe um sistema em produção denominado GEDAVE – Gestão da Defesa Animal e Vegetal que controla o comércio de insumos, o saldo de bovídeos e plantas das propriedades e a movimentação dos animais e vegetais dentro do Estado de São Paulo e para outros Estados.
O aplicativo GEDAVE mobile vem disponibilizar ao público usuário do GEDAVE as principais funcionalidades do sistema.
