2 ★The animations are awfully sluggish- as if everything is taking place underwater. The graphics are unimpressive and lack the charm of the 2002 original. The questing and loot system is watered-down- it's absent of nuance or anything moderately provoking. It's basically the most mundane, stripped-down, version of an MMO possible. Talk to NPC, move from point A to point B, kill X number of monsters, return to NPC. You know, the kind of questing that, by now, is regularly lampooned in the genre. I know that it's still a thing in other games, but that's basically ALL there is in this one. The game might as well be played on auto-pilot. "Ragnarok M: Eternal Love" is just too lazy, it's a "my first MMO," a mindless time-waster, a bare-bones mobile implementation of what can qualify as a game, much less a good MMO. That's fine if that's what you're looking for, but it's not for me.
4 ★absolutely amazing game, so nostalgic. The mechanics are great, it fits perfect on mobile. I was enjoying it thoroughly last night but now when I try to play, I cant get past the loading screen. It will say "you are signed into facebook" and I touch the screen to start, from there it just gets stuck on the loading screen and will not move on to the character screen. I can click the poring with exclamation mark in top right corner and it just says "you are signed into facebook". What do I do?
4 ★My rating may rise or fall as I keep playing. I've played for around 3 hours and I'm level 12, I'm glad that it is a game that takes its time and expects you to participate for quite a while and learn the ropes if you plan to level up quickly. The stat system is robust and effective. skills and targeting friends and enemies is comfortable. It is populated and friendly. Might be the best way to play ragnarok online right now. But please implement skin tone change some day ;-;
4 ★I love this game I really do but sometime the game will not let me passed the start screen and it just remains frozen. I have to reinstall the game every time it does this. I don't know why this happens but I know a few of my friends have this issue as well. Another issue and I see a few people have already mentioned this - Skin color. I was really hoping darker skin tones would be available and I'm extremely disappointed that it's not. Lastly it's overcrowded, killing MVPs is impossible.
2 ★Love the game, been playing RO for years, HOWEVER, the game has its ups and downs. The gameplay is great, but my biggest issue right now is constantly having to delete and reinstall the game every few days because of some odd glitch that makes the game freeze at the login screen. It works fine, until it doesnt. Every several days it stops working until I delete the game and reinstall. This issue needs to be resolved!
3 ★I like this game. have 2 characters an 85 sniper and 60 wizard. but through the time I have been playing, I have had to clear the data and reinstall the game over 50 times at the least. honestly I'm probably just going to delete the game this time. the first time it happened i wrote a review and hoped the dev's would work on it but it's been months and there hasn't been anything done. and i can see alot of people are having the same issue. I'll be back if the issue gets fixed...until then I'mdone
5 ★Great MMO. So overall great game with great story, mechanics and such. -Auto Play Great feature that is limited to mob grinding only. It is also limited in a time sense. you have roughly 400 "Auto Fighting" minutes. So far the best one I've come across. Pros -Graphics are great -5 classes that branch off to two hero classes after a piece. -MMO elements are great -Paying element is for money and random loot pulls Cons -Learning curve for classes, you will need to research best builds.
1 ★Game itself is pretty fun, standard MMO fair and what have you. but none of that matters if you can't play the game, encountered a bug where i'm stuck at the start screen. hitting the "press here to start" center, or the "help" button in the top right does nothing. tried refreshing caches, closing and reopening ect, to no avail. I've read that uninstalling the whole game and redownloading it should fix the issue...if only temporarily, as the issue is common and prone to reacurring.
3 ★I love this game. The gameplay and interface are simple and easy to dive in to. The community is active and it reigns in my nostalgia of the original quite well. Only giving this game 3 stars because of a reoccurring login issue I've had. After starting the game, it stalls on the opening screen until I'm forced to restart. It often requires me to reinstall the game to fix the issue. I'm not sure how many other people suffer from this but it is the only bug I've experienced. 5 Stars if fixed!!
1 ★Edit: trash company. What you did to private servers after 20 years is unacceptable. I absolutely love this game, I think its an improvement from the original RO i spent years playing. very well done!! That being said im getting really sick of the login bugs... i can't even get in the game right now. I click 'touch to start' and it sits there. The only resolution is to re-install which is a pain without a wifi connection in my home.
5 ★All in all a great game I love the gameplay, quest system, and the character customization would be perfect if you could have some options the skin color. I have had times where the game will suddenly cut out and I'll have to restart the app but with the data saved on the account I haven't really minded it.
3 ★A wonderful way to dip back into a pretty fun old MMO, especially for old players wanting to revisit. Biggest complaint is it seems a common issue that the game will not load sometimes after the "Touch to Start" prompt and you will have to fully clear the cache or reinstall the game to eventually get past that screen. Ive had to do this every 2 days like clockwork. Luckily internet is fast but with the annoyance of having to do this I had to knock off 2 stars.
