Brought to you by Craft Design House to connect the work, heritage and culture of design and craftsmanship.Behind the Design Behind the Design App has interactive clue-driven style walking trails and quizzes, increasing engagement a understanding. The trails and quizzes make it easy to find and learn about past and present designers, their work and their practice.
We want to take visitors and enthusiasts off the beaten track to engage with the skills and innovation of creative people around us and to be a part of the story, from sculpture to stone masonry, from textiles to architecture, from a local designer maker to a famous architect.
Watch video clips and learn about the creative process or detail in a piece of work. Our trails and quiz have a strong focus on encouraging children and new audiences to engage with the skill behind each piece.
