About the Android Oreo & Pie Support

PitchBlack Oreo & Pie provides full support on Pixel Stock, LineageOS, OxygenOS and any other AOSP Oreo & Pie based ROMs

First Step : You should choose your android overlay version

Installation for Android Oreo and Pie
• Select your android version
• Select all and configure the selected apps with the required options there.(System apps must be selected, like Settings, Android System and SystemUI)
• Tap on build and update
• Reboot your device
• Go into overlay manager and enable installed overlays

• For change or update QS tile colors on Oxygen OS, go into settings/display/accent (select applied PitchBlack accent) repeat the same after every PitchBlack theme change.

What isn't working on Oreo & Pie (Stock) Roms?

• Some notification text colors can not be inverted, that's why added light notifications as default on Oreo & Pie ROMs (dark option is still available)

A : All you have to do is navigate to the substratum application and enable+ build the overlays after tapping on the PitchBlack tile. If you already have a theme applied, head over to the overlay manager and disable all overlays before you enable+build PitchBlack than reboot your device

1 ★Did not work on Resurrection Remix v7 Andriod 9 (Pie), luckily play store had a refund button for me. I didn't realize that this was just a skin that works for some apps and not others anyway, I'll stick with the default look of RR v7.0.1 and just enable dark mode where I can, in my opinion much better. This should be free anyway, I see no reason for the price.

1 ★Just another Substratum theme which is not working without Google apps because of the license check. 😥 For people with the same problem: Try SwiftBlack/Dark. Maybe not the prettiest theme but it works without GAPPS, is compatible to most OS and gets often updates.

4 ★this theme is cool & i really like it. However, for some Google applications such as Playsore, Gmail and others, the status bar icon color is dark, and also some of the icons in the application turn to dark gray when others are white or red.

5 ★Excellent theme. Just went through all the 1* reviews. These are done by people who do not know to read. They don't have the common sense to read the description and end up commenting nonsense.

4 ★does not work but at least i got a refund. keeps generaring more than 1 profile and you can not pick so it doesnt work in the manager. also it says select valid something. sad as it looks great in pics. this is for pie.

5 ★Theme applies to play store randomly the overlay is installed and is enabled but most of the time the theme is not present on Play Store app

5 ★Just bought this, the colour and overall theme looks really slick and cool.. the problem with Google system apps appeared again, it seems fine at first, but then it crashed again

5 ★Best. Theme. Period. Dev should charge a bit more for this theme in my opinion. This is the best one out for Pie right now if you love the dark themes.

4 ★Nice one..only complaint is that when apps are updated ..they stop working..theme is to be installed again using pc..I have disabled auto update in playstore for this problem.
