The main application features are covered below.
1. Operates as a smart IP camera. The application supports capturing silent camera pictures/recordings without anyone knowing!
2. Utilize your phone as a Skype portable webcam. MJPEG stream supported by most video chat services.
3. Real time video/audio streaming over WiFi and 3G networks. Either connect to the device over WiFi and use VLC to view content or use the free streaming server (included as a download from CloudCam) to stream real time camera video from the device over 3G. No third party included!
4. Capture scheduled camera images/recordings and upload to the Cloud or save to SD card. Configure application to capture and send camera images to email, Picasa, Dropbox, or FTP.
5. G-Sensor/Picture motion detection. Automatically activate camera snapshot mode,video streaming mode or video/audio recording.
6. Scheduler supports multiple timers to control the starting/stopping of CloudCam features.
7. Notify using email when the battery status on the device changes. If the device is plugged into the mains, the device can detect a power failure from the mains and automatically email to notify.
8. Secure remote control from anywhere in the world. The application can be controlled remotely using email to switch ON/OFF CloudCam features and change camera settings (i.e. zoom, turn camera flash light ON/OFF, adjust picture quality,switch ON Snapshot/Video mode and many more).
9. Advanced performance settings to cater for long surveillance operations and limited power.
10. Switch CloudCam into sleep mode to save battery power and reactivate remotely or through configured timers.
11. Free streaming server supports automatic presentation of real time streaming video content from the handset to waiting streaming players like VLC. Multiple streaming servers can run in parallel on a PC,Mac or Linux server servicing multiple CloudCam device allowing multiple CloudCam devices can be viewed from a single source.
12. View MJPEG content from the camera over WiFi/3G networks using the free Android MJPEG viewer CamBuddy.
13. Trigger mode - Allow external applications to turn ON CloudCam features through HTTP requests.

5 ★Tried the demo bought the full version. Hope I can remote start the app it seems very solid!
4 ★I have tried most cam apps, including the pay apps and this one serves my needs. Excellent. My only problem is I want my screen to timeout but it stays on 24-7. Wish I could find a solution.
1 ★Always triggers, even on the least sensitive setting.
5 ★Perfect for viewing your phone camera on the same Wifi network & setting to perfectly fit your needs. Tip I found useful is that all the tool (wrench) icons you can click on to access special settings like video quality or image quality size. You can use this as a motion sensor for when something is walking by. Also, the option to email the full resolution photo to yourself is great to have. 1 ★Junk! Don't waste your time or your money! Tried to use it on two different Android phones. After hours of trying different configurations, I finally gave up! Help files are unclear and confiding, so don't expect help from there.
1 ★Paid in full. Attempted several times trying to get program to load keeps failing. Bummer.
2 ★It would be a nice app, if all those features would actually work in real life. You could turn your andriod into a web cam if not for the fact that you'd need a dedicated PC running a jar based MPJEP streamer app. Who has that to show for, specially if on the move? What good is the spycam app, if it only wurks with SpyBuddy, an app so utterly useless that it can't even record video/pics and can't reliably switch to the front facing camera? The list goes on, including the fact that the http based webinterface requires Java support (not just JavaScript), thus it can only be used from PC based web browsers.
1 ★Pain to configure. Has to be configured every time u run it. Won't remember half the settings. Only low resolution photos r taken. The list is endless. Wont b using it.
4 ★It's the best for seeing live video through your android phone, I would have rated it a 5 star rating if it would have had support for a front camera. Once there is an update for this app that supports a front camera then I will change my rating to a 5 star rating!! Thanks though
1 ★Demo works properly but full version started crapping out after two first uses on Motorola xt912. Config doesn't stay saved for uploading to picasa or drop box cloud. Video doesn't upload to picasa or drop box either. Multiple resolutions were tested.
2 ★Previous viewer is correct, it is a pain to configure... but understandable since it has alot of supposed options. The real issue is that by the time you get it configured and attempt to test it, your refund timer is up and you can't get a refund once you find out that the app doesn't do what it says it will do. The one feature I needed was disabled in the "demo" version. What I wanted it for was to record video, however the app would never save video to SD or internal storage no matter what I tried or where I tried to save it. Second, while it did stream video to my web browser across the LAN in MJPEG format, as soon as you switch to another app, the stream dies (even though the app is running as a service as indicated by the HAL eye icon on the toolbar). It even says it's still running, but doing nothing. If the app is not the foreground application, it doesn't work as advertised. So much for "stealthy". All I wanted it for was to record class lectures while I was taking notes. I wasn't even trying to be stealthy. While the app does stream video, it's feature list over promises -alot-.
