About My Circles APK
Description
My Circles is a "social behavioral map" developed for people who fall under the autism spectrum.The intent is to gain structure and overview in everyday life to counteract the social chaos
experienced by many in this group.
The system organizes and explains certain demands that may apply to social interaction by defining
different social arenas or Circles. It shows what is required for that particular circle and also how
those demands change, from the private inner Circle to the public outer one.
Supporting tools can be added for each Circle in the form of schedules, social stories and routines for
stress management.
My Circles thus serves a dual purpose:
1. Explaining to gain a better overview.
2. Offering practical solutions, actionable alternatives and strategies.
The goal is for My Circles to contribute to increased independency and control in life. By giving the
user a better understanding of social interactions and ready access to solutions and strategies, the
system will contribute to better mastering everyday life and reduce unease, anxiety and stress.
The contents of My Circles must be tailored to each user and is easy to modify. When the app is
downloaded the user will be granted access to a web site where the methods are described, and
examples are given for what to add to the different levels of each Circle. Practical descriptions for
how to edit the contents in the Circles are also included on the web site.
