5 ★Highly rely on this app to track my fuel mileage and also to keep track of required maintenance for my vehicle. Highly recommended. Some great widgets to make for easy and quick entry.
4 ★This app is great for logging mileage and keeping track of maintenance. However I wish there were more backup options to help ease the transition from phone to phone.
1 ★App does not support trip mileage. This should be simple to incorporate and an option on Fuelly but is not an option in this app.
1 ★Used to be a great app, offline database for all your car tracking needs. They added syncing aa optional at first, which was great. But as a paid pro user, they came out with a new "premium" option and added adds back for pro users! Sold out bait and switch :(. Now there is only a monthly subscription if you want the advanced features. I just want add-free local database, dont need to sync with their cloud for a monthly fee. Looks like there are options in the play store now at least.
1 ★I have been using for over 5 years and paid for previous version. Now I cannot transfer license and need to repay on a yearly subscription???? Will find a new app to do the same thing as this app.
2 ★Used to work so well as aCar, in fact I liked it so much it was the first app I ever paid for. with pro features I appreciated being able to backup to a local file which I could then backup on my google drive. When Fuelly took over the existing backup/synch features became very confusing, and it's missing an entire year's worth of data which I have backed up locally but app will not allow me to use to it restore those records. Saving gas station location data used to be so much simpler too, and I think there are some fields I used to track that are simply just gone now. I also don't like how there are no longer useful stats for service and expense records, they are stored and I can export them but I can't chart them in the app. The fact these apps need to be updated and change without user consent is what's wrong with devices today (also what's valuable about them, when they actually improve over time instead of get worse).
1 ★WAS an amazing app, but Fuelly is now slurping your data. I paid for the original app, outside of Google. Now there is nowhere to enter my donation ID. New crappy features include constant reminders to backup my data online, which you can't turn off, and ads in an app I paid for. If I try to use the donation ID recovery, I must upload my data to fuelly. I never agreed to tell Fuelly anything about my cars. But you can't get around that. You cant buy the app anymore, only subscribe. Sucks.
5 ★Great way to track everything auto. I liked it enough to support ongoing development with the annual subscription. The UI takes a little getting used to and then becomes second nature. it is almost intuitive save for a cluttered main screen. Reminders work well and are a key feature for me. I love that it supports defining parts. This really saves when picking up wipers, filters, etc. The statistics are excellent. Too many goodies to describe. Just go for it!
1 ★Have used this for years. Paid for the pro/unlock key version a long time ago. Then they got bought out and as so often goes with things like this, the app has gone down hill and it is being uninstalled (old phone died and I wasn't willing to pay a monthly fee for online backups, so my data is lost anyway). Having paid up-front and then having the new owners decide to take back the features I paid for, as well as cover up a third of the screen with ads, I'm done with it. If you don't mind paying a monthly subscription to get all of the features, then it might still be a decent app, but I'm guessing it will end up like the dinosaurs.
1 ★When I aCar first came out I liked it so I bought the pro version. Now I find that the developer has sold out his original customers and has filled the app with annoying ads. I plan to create a spreadsheet version which will be updated on my desktop with a copy on my cell for reference. I rate this app with 1 star only because a lesser rating isn't available.
1 ★I love this app so much, I paid for the pro version several years ago. Now after I've paid for it and have been using my paid app for several years, they want to double dip and collect a subscription fee. When my "premium" status runs out, I'll be looking for another app to track all my info. Sad to have to do it, but I'm not paying for something twice.
2 ★This used to be an awesome app until it was bought by Fuelly. I bought the Pro version of acar using the original donation system and forever since the acquisition, I have had to jump through hoop after hoop every time I want to use the pro features of the app. This really is unacceptable. If you're considering purchasing the Pro features, ask yourself first, "What is to keep this company from doing the same shady thing to me that they did to others."
