Description
Light flow allows you to take control of the notifications on your device.It's main features are:
- Controlling the notification LED for phones that have them (cycling colors through outstanding notifications)
- Sound control, including repeating sounds
- Vibration control, including custom vibration patterns and repeating vibrations
- Android wear vibration support
- Sleep times
- Lock screen based notifications (on phones that support live wallpapers on lock screens)
- Contact specific notifications for certain notification types

This app will allow you to control the notification color for the over 600 applications and system events such as:

It allows the colors to flash in succession, so if you have a new SMS and a missed call it can alternate between the two colors. You can also set which notification type has the highest priority and let it flash in just that one color.
It'll even push notifications out to your pebble smart watch, Sony smart Watch and the DashClock lock screen extension.

Known issues/Limitations

Samsung phones when accessibility is enabled may cause the phone to start talking, warnings about air view and a few other issues. These are confirmed samsung bugs (see here: http://developer.samsung.com/forum/board/thread/view.do?boardName=GeneralB&messageId=204387) but the app can be run without the accessibility service and still work (but with a reduced notification list)
Not all phones support all colors.
For example: Most HTC phones only support 3 colors and require "Rooting" and running the app in "direct mode"
Some phones can only light up the notification while the screen is off.
Some phones cannot have their notification light always on
Some phones cannot have their notification blink and it will always be on
Note that it will take over control of your notifications and you will therefore only get notifications for categories that the app allows.
★ We recommend you try the "lite" version first before purchasing to avoid any disappointment if it doesn't work for you. Some phones require root privileges to access the LEDs. ★

5 ★great app. it hasn't been updated in a really long time. my phone doesn't have an LED for notifications but the custom sounds and vibrations are fantastic. you can make each app vibrate differently. I hope it gets updated.
4 ★Used to be great, and for a long time. But not anymore, it's been abandoned. I got the paid version all the way back on the phone before my Galaxy S3, just at the cusp of phone makers starting to do RGB lights. And now they've gone the way of headphone jacks, replaceable batteries, and expandable storage (all of which that S3 had, and my current one does not). And so it goes with LightFlow. Even without notification light, I still used it for custom sounds based on the notification content. :o(
1 ★It was one of the best apps, used to work very well. Unfortunately, the developer Andrew abandoned development in 2018. It's really a pity. I wonder why it is still here.

5 ★I saw my old review still in Playstore, and wanted to do right. The developers had to scramble as Android 6 changed notif permissions! Everytime I upgrade my phone/Android version, and tried it, P-store already raised the req. OS again! Nothing wrong with phone or app; It's I wasn't buying the best $$$ phone! Dev. now offers app for free, even thier legacy one for OS 4.4.2 (avail. on the dev. site, poor guys!) Got an OS 11 phone to beat P-store. Made it solid with less permissions. Gorgeous!
4 ★This is an Incredibly and the most useful app. I have been using this app since it's inception. I reply on this app every day, all day without exception. I would is the is the most single app that I reply on the most on daily basis on my phone even mush more than the SMS app. The only downside with the app is that it has not been update for quiet sometimes. Also, the developer has not been replying to my reporting within the past several months. I hope this app gets updated so works with A OS 12
5 ★I would pay 50.00 for this app if you could make it work for Samsung S22, but use a light similar to notifybuddy. Please developers come back!
