!!!BIG UPDATE, READ INSTRUCTIONS!!!Because of recent Samsungs changes, there are more steps required to make this application function again. First, enable all the applications that you want to use with edge lighting in this application. After that, go to Settings / Display / Edge Screen / Edge Lighting / Edge lighting style / Color / Custom color and go into section By text. Here you input all the application names, which you've enabled in this application and select colors for them. After that, it will work because this app will trigger a new notification with application title and it will trigger original edge ligthing effect.

As of latest Samungs update of EdgeScreen, they disabled custom colors for notifications. They are overwriting any color changes made by any app. If you want to have this app running well, please do this:
Please go to Settings / Apps / EdgeScreen and in top right corner, tap on three dots to show menu an Uninstall all updates. After that, go to Settings / Display / Edge Screen / Edge Lighting / Manage notifications and enable my app.
I am currently trying to solve this issue, but it will be hard and maybe I need som assistance from Samsung.

To ensure, that your phone is set correctly, or you have any problems, try this at first:
Go to Settings / Display / Edge screen. Here please tap on Edge lighting and make sure it's set to Always. Also tap on Edge lighting style, tap on Color / App color and in top right corner tap on three dots and select Reset app colors.
If application is only waking up your display, do this: Go to Settings / Display / Edge Screen / Edge lighting / Manage notifications and check, that my application is enabled. If it is enabled, try to disable and enable it again.
NOTICE: You need to have enable Edge Lighting notifications in your mobile phone!
Using this applications you can enable edge notifications and customize color for any application installed on your device. Works while AOD too.
This application uses Samsung native notifications, not any emulated notifications. It works by translating old, non-edge notifications to new style notifications.

How to install Edge Lighting APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Edge Lighting APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads

5 ★Been using this little workaround since the Android pie update, but little hit n miss because of the notifications. This update has helped cured this, BIG thanx to Dev AGAIN. Keep up the good work !
4 ★Stopped working with the latest Samsung update, workaround of deleting Edge screen updates doesn't work anymore either. It won't let you delete the updates.

5 ★I have bought two other edge lighting apps from google play and neither of them worked. This is the first one to actually work. What is funny is that supposedly samsung can not figure out how to get the edge lighting notifications to work while the screen is off, The person who programmed this app did. Either way thank you for making this app.
5 ★EDIT: Samsung has updated its edge lighting system and it interferes with app, still makes edge lighting work with any app, but cant control colour. Was skeptical at first. But this app does exactly what it says and serves me percdctly. Recommended! Make sure to reset your regular edge lighting settings and read the help/instructions.
3 ★I cant seem to get it to work on my lock screen. I'm sure I tried what you wrote but when I get a message ( WhatsApp) on the lock screen it takes me to the wake up screen. Please assist me. I saw the good reviews n bought the app. maybe I'm not doing something right in the setting. Kindly help.

3 ★I have come across the problem that all the apps share the same color of edge lighting, I have reset all the colors but despite this all the apps share the same color when I recieve a notification. I've tried everything but nothing has worked I would really like some help on this issue.
