5 ★I have been a huge fighting fantasy fan since the 1980s, owning all of thefirst edition books in the collection. The Fighting Fantasy Legends seriesis definitely the best adaptation of the books. It does justice to thestory, characters, combat system, locations and it makes you feel that youare the hero of the adventures.. 👍
4 ★This is a pretty enjoyable, solid game. Gameplay is almost identical to theprevious Fighting Fantasy Legends game, just with a different story, so ifyou played and enjoyed that one, you'll like this, and vice versa. Therewas an issue with the game not wanting to open at first, but uninstallingand reinstalling fixed the issue. My biggest complaint with this game isthe total lack of anything resembling a tutorial. There is a "help" optionin the menu, but it rather strangely leads to a website withFAQ/instructions for the Talisman physical/digital board game, not this one(they're two totally different games). The official website also hasnothing in the way of a manual/instructions for this game. If I hadn'tplayed the game's predecessor I would have been totally lost. As it was, Iwas only somewhat lost. New players, beware. Other than that, though, thisis a decent game. I just hope they don't ruin it with super expensive IAPsfor the expansions.
4 ★Enjoyable version of the original FF classics, but I think I prefer the waythe books were combined together in the original fighting fantasy legendsgame. I can see this makes it easier to add games later as DLC, but thelack of continuous play across the different books is a loss. I'm also abit concerned that Trial of Champions has some bits that if you miss themfirst time around will leave you stick for the rest of your lives (can'tfind the rope, for example). Overall, though, still a lot of fun.
3 ★I would give 5/5 but drives me crazy that I have almost zero chance to healmyself and whenever I fight I can't replenish my health by eatingprovisions or similar, not like in the real fighting fantasy books, When Idie after I have to walk (restart) again and again from the entrance. Thismakes the whole gameplay annoying
3 ★So I really wanted to like this game it look like it might be wonderfulSteve Jackson is involved and so I had High Hopes but it is so boringbecause of all the repetitiveness. Very disappointed.
5 ★Great narrative, wonderfuly atmospheric with a huge dose of nostalgia. Newlife thanks to a cutting edge twist on smartphones, it's done very well. UIworks brilliantly. Love it!

3 ★It's quite nice as a game, but IMHO I prefer how the previous FightingFantasy Legend game integrated 3 books into a single game. Separating thebooks in this game was a downer for me.
1 ★Se tudo o que posso fazer durante o combate é pressionar um botão e contar com a sorte, não há estratégia alguma e não há sequer a necessidade de apertar o botão manualmente, pois o jogo poderia fazer isso por mim e nenhuma diferença seria notada. Nos livros jogos de fighting fantasy era possível usar sorte no combate e isso te dava, ao menos, uma escolha em como proceder. O level up não consegue salvar isso, pois te dá uma escolha binária risível. É um jogo para quem não quer pensar.
