How to install SongBook APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download SongBook APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page

3 ★I would like to see a way to create set lists
5 ★App worked great at first, but now it just freezes up and is pretty useless. I had 1 song and it was good. 2 songs was good. I tried importing a song, it came out as garbled. Problem is that I can't delete the song that is messed up, everything freezes. I know people who use this and recommended it, but not for me. I think I bought a lemon. The Bluetooth page turner I bought has an app, so I'll probably have no choice, but to use it. EDIT: It let me delete the bad files and all is working now.
4 ★It strangely opens automatically when there is a downloaded file for which I have no app to open it, yet the file can't be found in Songbook. Weird.
3 ★i love and hate this app. its great for gigs after you've written everything in. my biggest gripes are as follows. 1. chords are not already listed. you just get what I assume is an HTML bracket to insert the chord. 2. if you want something highlighted, italics, etc you must use the code bracket for that selected section instead of just highlighting the word and checking a box. I'm a musician, not a programmer or website builder. there is not enough space for the rest.
5 ★Android version is fairly easy to use once you learn it. One nice feature is the ability to link audio track with the song sheet. Ability to change keys is very nice as well. I do wish I could encode more different colors into the sheet as I anotate things extensively... 6-7 colors would have been helpful. The one not so good thing is the PC version is a lot differnt from the Android version- I had expected the same. I find the PC version seriously lacking and only use is as a PC based utility.
3 ★Good prog. I only use the APK and It works OK. I would like to see some better implementation of RTL languages like Hebrew and Arabic. With these, editing is pretty cumbersome on my Android at the time. Also the import of files from the Internet would profit greatly from automatic recognition and adaptation of the chords (adding brackets). Thanks for this useful software. Blessings.
5 ★Brilliant, only improvement i can think of is a means of a highlight that follows the music timbase across the lyrics for when that mental block hits you and you can see exactly where you are on the page. I've used it for a few years now and seen the development. I have had freezing issues but that was due to low storage and memory capacity, give it space to function and it runs problem free.
5 ★I am impressed with this app! I use Notepad on a win7 pc to get the song lyrics in the .pro format, then upload to my tablet & phone along with an mp3 file. Works perfect! Have over 40 songs loaded now. Emailed the developer a few times and they got back to me within a few hours. Very good responses and answered all my questions. Update: Have about 120 songs loaded now and 100 backing tracks. Found one issue and the developer fixed it promptly and followed up with me to make sure the issue was fixed!
1 ★Trying to get this set up has been a pain in the bum. I got it because I had wanted songs to scroll whilst being played. I could not get songs to transfer so then I find that it won't do word docs. So I see where it will do pdf format, so I go back to my computer and laboriously change everything to pdf - 1 file at a time. Then transfer them only to find that no, it won't scroll pdf format. What a bloody waste of time and money this has been!
4 ★I have bought both versions for Android and for the iPad. The biggest difference (aside from the GUI) is the selection of fonts which is very limited in the Android version. The fixed font doesn't support bold or italic. A request for the developer; in our country we have a slightly different denomination of the notes (Bb = B, B = H) and for this reason I need to write chords in a separate line with {c:} other than using [ ] for chords, which is all good but then I can't transpose the songs.
5 ★Does what it says on the tin. The synchronisation with Google Drive works flawlessly. I love how personalised it can become. My only gripe is that between phone, tablet and PC, all my economies are now gone. Would be much better to pay for it once and get it in all platforms.
4 ★Good app for playing and singing.scroll feature helps a lot and its easy to import songs from ultimate guitar etc for free. I had this app before on my old tablet which broke and had to pay for it again to install on this tablet .Not sure if I can put it on other devices without paying again??Works really well for guitar playing.
