Description
The Pickin' And Grinnin' Songbook is our attempt to digitally recreate that binder full of song lyrics, tabs and chords that many musicians lug around with them during the course of their music life. The songbook is focused on speed and ease of use. The main feature set is free and will remain that way as our goal is to make Pickin' and Grinnin' accessible to everyone. Advanced features are enabled via a single in-app purchase. New free and advanced features are in the works (see the road-map below).Main Features (free):
- Organize all your text-based song files into one main song library with quick index key (Various file formats: .txt, .crd, .cho, .chopro, .chordpro)
- View and Edit any song from the library, swipe to page from song to song
- Options to prevent your device from going to sleep while in song view
- Several text sizing options including pinch-to-zoom, double tap to autosize, fine sizing controls in overlay menu
- Transpose the chords of any song up or down to fit your vocal range.
- Add new songs to the library from scratch, from the clipboard, or via web search.
- Share songs via email, bluetooth etc. (Some devices have problems sending text files via Bluetooth)
- NOTE: Pickin' and Grinnin' includes only a few sample song files for use, no copyrighted lyrics or chords are included within the app.

5 ★This is the best app for finding lyrics, period. Tried others but they are no we're as good. Easy to use. Bought a new tablet and the lyrics search wasn't working on the new os. I contacted Sheldon at codemasters, immediately he went to work creating an update that works on newer devises. Now it works flawlessly. 6 stars for sure!
2 ★Hi can't get speed of song change. Not as fruendky as it could be. Like the layout of inserting songe from internet. Some steps are easy. Needs improvement.

5 ★Great App. Grabbing songs and and scrolling is so easy. You can do your ownedits and even write your own songs. The Bluetooth control is a bonus.
5 ★I have to give it a 5 star rating. Because it does the job intended. However, I go to a great deal of effort transferring text lyrics via desktop. Works fine. Last night I attened a jam session. The icon was home page of my Samsung Tab 4. when I last shutdown. No icon on homepage. Found the icon in my list of apps folder. When I clicked it open all my lyrics had disappeared. But when it worked it it worked great! This could all be my error. I don't know what I did different.
5 ★This is the app I've been searching for. Let's me make set lists gets songs from tab sites let's me change the keys and name and edit as I like. Also so I don't waste my time the songs are stored as text files so if the app ever went away or was no longer available I didn't waste my time putting songs in it. Only request is more background color and text color options. I do some outside shows and would like more options to counter the sun. Otherwise just perfect and dirt cheap. I would have paid a lot more. The option to load songs from the internet is awesome. Thanks guys.

3 ★Needs to open .pro file extension, also needs to save in chordpro format. Not a bad app, fantastic that it loads text files from html, just not of much use to me without saving as chordpro.

5 ★This does exactly what is says it will do. Hold all my songs, Size them the way I want them and transpose / tune the cords up and down on demand,,,, how cool is that !!!
