Description
Pixel Soldiers: The Great War is a simple to play, but difficult to master turn based strategy game set during the First World War. You will choose to command the armies of either the Entente (France, Britain and Russia) or the Central Powers (Germany, Austria and the Ottoman Empire).You will fight from 1914 to 1918 on the Western Front and Eastern Front. You will land on the beaches at Gallipoli, desperately hold or seize the important city of Verdun and try to achieve a breakthrough on the Somme.
This game is the fourth entry in the Pixel Soldiers series. Previous games: Pixel Soldiers: Waterloo, Pixel Soldiers: Bull Run and Pixel Soldiers: Gettysburg.

STRATEGY AND TACTICS:
Use the terrain to your advantage: Keep vulnerable units behind ridges or hide them in the trees. Protect vital mountain passes, river crossings, towns and forts.
Will you push your troops forward and seize the initiative? Or will you set up a defensive line, await reinforcements and let the enemy come to you?
These and many more questions you will need to ask yourself. There are many ways to win the game.

5 ★Only paid 49¢. Fun and great time killer.
5 ★Excellent simple turn based game, No Ads, or if there are, they were so unobtrusive I've forgotten about them entirely. The campaign is very well done, and I LOVE the ability for commanders that survive battles to persistently move from battle to battle and gain experience, potentially surviving the entire war. Highly recommend if you're looking for a simple yet challenging, easy to pick up and put down game with a deceptively simple charm.
5 ★So good. So easy to play but so well made and balanced. You can even quit part way through a turn and continue right from that moment (provided you quit through the purse menu). Loving the campaign, only suggestion would be a conquest mode, similar to the Total War games, in which the war will unfold in new ways based on you and the AI grand war moves then fighting the battles out in the current combat system. Otherwise, one of my favorite phone games ever! Great work!

5 ★This is the best turn based strategy game I have ever played on mobile! I've played most of your games and I like the feel of technology development from Waterloo , civil war too the war to end all wars! Great engine and gameplay.... I dooooo have some ideas! Look at wars between 1600s and 1800s you'll be surprised at what's there like the American Philippine war or the Anglo Zulu war or the war of 1812 with more naval battle and more maps ... I'm interested in the concept of a ww2 game......
5 ★This is probably the best WW1 game I have found on the app store. I have had a lot of fun in the sandbox mode making battles. And the AI is smart and really makes you think strategically. But I wish there was US marines as a unit. Other than that it is a very decent game. Worth the price! A WW2 game like this would be really cool!
5 ★Great game, only complaint is when there is a lot of troops you cant move multiple amounts of troops. Maybe you could add a highlighting system where you can tap the top of the screen so the highlighted troops go up as most as they can. It's just a bit inconvenient when it takes 7 minutes a single turn.
4 ★I like but it starts getting boring with not be able to play any other thing and I wish there were other games that you made that are free and one of the ways you can make the game more interesting is by adding bunkers and a engineer unit that can dig trenches and you can create maps and can you make a game about the American intervention in Mexico or the Mexican American war as its called in the US and can you make that game free and second of all can you add a Pacific front for the game
5 ★This game is a LOT better than any mobile games I have played (I got this on a phone) and I can't think of anything that would improve on it so far, other than a more in depth tutorial, as I STILL don't know how to make barbed wire.
5 ★In the next update (don't know how it works during these times)* if possible with lockdown and what not, could you add more maps, and more units, maybe the ability to build bunkers and manually dig trenches, and maps such as middle eastern campaign? Sorry of this is a big ask, but Im just very interested in the continuation of this game.
3 ★Low Ground Detail Rises in the terrain are hard for me to tell apart, I don't know why but the level of detail in your terrain should improve please ? Edit, troops just walk up cliffs inclines should exist, I have trouble with the Cliffs, Trenches look half effort, i just wish there was a bit more detail in your game, it would be a whole lot better to tell the difference between a cliff and a ledge, including the fact that troops don't merge with level effects just the animation and detail lack
