The motion detection algorithms have been perfected over many years of research and development to accurately trigger either a photo or a video when genuine motion occurs in the camera's field of vision. That photo or video will then be saved to your Android device as well as optionally being synced to your Dropbox or Google Drive account so that you can view all your captures remotely.
You can also simultaneously LiveStream the feed from the camera to other devices on your local WiFi network so that you can keep watch over your home, place of work or maybe even just keep track of your pets!
The app is capable of running in Receiver Mode so that you can view the LiveStream from another Android device that is running SECuRET ProCam. Alternatively, you can also choose to LiveStream video to a web browser which provides a rich web user interface allowing you to remotely control the camera and remotely view the motion triggered captures that have been saved to the device so far.
SECuRET ProCam is the original motion triggered camera app for Android released in 2009. It has been featured on the Gadget Show TV series in the UK and has been used as a professional security solution by many organisations. The technology used to power this app has been used in traffic monitoring solutions, a rear view parking sensor & baby monitors, and has been developed by the dooblou company since the late 1990s.

How to install SECuRET ProCam APK on Android phone or tablet?

1 ★Doesn't run longer than one day then just quits sending alerts. It doesn't crash, it just quits being useful.
3 ★The app does what it says, but there are a couple of things that would make it better :- 1. Currently, notification emails can only be sent if the image resolution is set to low, they will not be sent if photos are at full resolution or video clips are being used instead. The reasoning for this is that the larger files would take too long to email, but if like me you are using Dropbox sync, why can an email sans attachment not be sent? 2. More annoyingly, you cannot specify where on the phone captures are stored, this becomes a problem when you have little internal storage, but have plenty of SD card storage I would appreciate if the developer could have a look at these issues
5 ★Turn your Android phone camera or remote camera into a visual motion triggered SpyCam. Can be used as a surveillance solution or take a snapshot of your friends when they don't know they are on camera.
3 ★This is a great app but there are a couple of things that bring it down a couple of notches: No instructions or explanation of what a lot of the options actually do or what effect they have, this is particularly bad in the "advanced" menu, none of the options are self explanatory, you just have to fiddle and see what happens, meanwhile my drop box is filling up with useless pictures of nothing actually happening (apart from the wind blowing or the sun shining). This is particularly frustrating if you don't have time to waste setting it up. The "FAQ" mentioned in the app description simply doesn't exist. The second is more of a missing feature. It would be nice if you could choose an area on the screen where you want to detect motion, that way you could point it at your gate, but it will only activate if someone is inside your gate, not just walking past it. If the dev makes a quick and dirty manual I will change my rating to 5 stars.
4 ★Works really well... definitely worth the $5. Here are some things I could suggest to the developer to make it even more awesome: - Auto delete old videos (I want to set it and forget it) - Email alerts (even it the pic/video isn't included) when set to high res photo or video mode - More granular motion detection (some way to eliminate the frequent squirrel/wind blowing a bush videos) Otherwise... super cool app. - Update: I was able to set up TaskBomb (android app) and a py script to truncate the folder once daily...
1 ★This doesn't actually track motion, but instead tracks image changes. So, when the light changes it'll take hundreds of pics and flood your inbox.
5 ★Flashing blinking black screen I know how it's supposed to function properly it not doing that...
4 ★Love the automatic dropbox uploads. Also I was finally able to successfully capture and determine which one of my sneaky dogs has been marking on the living room furniture thanks to this app. The downside of this is that the app is on for 8 hours while I'm gone and I ended up with a huuuge amount of files from the dogs roaming around, as well as a full dropbox account. An option to disable sound on video recordings would be cool, as it seems that would likely decrease the file size without losing resolution.
4 ★I first bought this a couple years ago along with the live streaming app. And after multiple OS upgrades and Roms and modding it still holds true. I do have one request and would add another star....wear support please!!
5 ★I've been using this app for years to watch my cats while I'm away from home. It works great! Have never had any problems at all!!
4 ★Like everybody else I love this app and look forward to new innovations I really am most interested in viewing more than one camera at the same time.
5 ★We have it monitoring the yard and drive. Very sensitive for motion. Wish you could email higher resolution pictures.
