All About Tower Offense vs. Tower DefenseAnomaly 2 is a sequel to the critically acclaimed Anomaly Warzone Earth. Maintaining the core elements of the original, Anomaly 2 adds new features to the single-player campaign and finally puts your skills to a test in a completely unique experience: the dynamic tower defense vs. tower offense multiplayer mode!
In the years following the invasion of Earth in 2018, the planet is overrun by alien machines. Humankind is on the verge of extinction. Banded together in huge convoys, they search the frozen tundra for food and supplies. Since the war, the roles have been reversed: now our species seems to be the Anomaly on a machine-controlled planet. Your convoy, Commander, is called Yukon.
Anomaly 2 takes the RTS tower-offense concept from Anomaly Warzone Earth to a new level. The core elements of the original are spiced up by a number of important new features:
- Morph your troops into war mechs to discover the new face of strategy: each unit has a different mech form with various abilities to help you overcome specific combat situations.

1 ★Don't normally pay for games on android, due to all the quality free products, but thought I'd give this a try. It worked first time and seemed like a good game. Needs fixed. Sorry to give punative stars but this game is *expensive* and i have nothing for my money. Don't buy this game unless you are sure it won't crash every time.
2 ★A clean tower defense game with high end graphics and some RTS elements. If campaign play had been expanded to include a Machines version and multiplayer actually existed like it states it does, it would get another two stars. As it stands I think the price is a bit steep for less gameplay than in previous Anomaly titles.
1 ★It would be a good game except the fact the if you minimize the game or exit it you have to restart the whole level. This wouldn't be as big of a deal but the levels are like 20 minutes long. Uninstalling until you fix this. It's so frustrating that you can't save the level progress. What's the point of checkpoints??
5 ★Tower defense turned on its head. Great visuals and a creative storyline set the stage for immersive gameplay that will leave you wanting more. Later levels will give your fingers a workout as all your arsenal becomes available. I will look forward to future installments.
3 ★I would love this game but it keeps crashing on mission 8 load screen and goes back to the 11 bit screen. I'm on a nexus 7 2nd gen. This game is a lot of fun and I didn't put it down until mission 8. Please fix. I did pay for this don't let this game be another app that's a complete waste of money. But then again y'all already did get my money so what do y'all care.
1 ★I have a Nexus 6...this should be able to play anything in the appstore... but somehow, this crashes on level 10...I start playing for a bit, then the level quits and I end up on the home screen... otherwise the game is fun, pretty good story, nice graphics...still not sure whether this style or tower defense is more fun... I tend to go with tower defense because it has more strategy...especially Field runners type...this feels a bit too linear...still pretty good overall...if they'd fix the crashing...
1 ★Great graphics and I really like the gameplay. But it frequently crashes when returning from being minimized. Also crashes at the same halfway point in the level called Freeze every time. So I can't complete the game. Should they fix this, proper save points that last when the game is minimized would be good for longer levels (One Plus One)
1 ★Every time I play I fear the game re boots. Its soo hard just to get through a mission without having to re do it 10 times. Please fix, I love the game and it would be nice see the end to a well made game.
2 ★I have this game for Pc and Android. It worked great until mission 12 and the checkpoints stopped working. Then, when I would have to restart the level, the screen would go black for a long time. It would then say that it wasn't responding and force close. Has happened 3 times in the last 2 days. I've had enough. Fix this please. Was played on by the beastly galaxy note 3.
1 ★Was playing perfectly up until mission 4 I think it was "fish in a barrel" then it has started loading to halfway and then sends me back to your company logo. It's a shame because the game has some lovely graphics and gameplay ideas in it, it's just plagued with a few bugs it seems. I think that crashing on startup has happened once also. So for the moment it has been rendered unplayable for Z Ultra users. I will change my review once it is fixed.
2 ★Not sure why this game has such great reviews. Graphics are great but difficult to distinguish between objects, and game play is painfully slow and boring. I would've been more satisfied with a 99¢ hot dog from QT.
2 ★Played through the tutorial levels without problem, but now whenever I try to start any mode the app goes back to the splash screen. Great game but can't give it more stars. Not worth the money if there's no way to play.
