Description
ArtRage for Android is a realistic painting and drawing app that gives you a toolkit filled with tools that work just like the real thing. Smear and blend thick oils on the screen, sketch with pencils and smudge the strokes to create gradients, work like you would on canvas or paper.Each tool includes settings that mirror real world properties such as Paint Thinners, Pencil Softness, and other familiar properties. The app includes a range of default presets for every tool, and you can easily create your own specialized custom presets. It also supports pressure data from the Samsung S-Pen to add an element of natural expressiveness to your paint strokes.
Along with the full range of familiar tools like the oil brush, inking pen and pencil tools, ArtRage includes important digital features like Layers with Blend Modes, a Fill Tool, the ability to add Reference and Tracing images while you draw, and more.
ArtRage for Android comes with an intuitive interface that keeps all the important settings readily available but gets out of your way as you work so that you creative flow isn't interrupted.
ArtRage Paintings are fully compatible with desktop versions of ArtRage, and can also be exported as PNG and JPG images. You can import photos as paint layers, reference images or tracing images. Record your paintings as Script files for playback at larger resolutions in our desktop software

Oil Brush, Watercolor, Airbrush, Palette Knife, Paint Roller, Paint Tube, Ink Pen, Pencil, Felt Pen, Wax/Chalk Pastel, Eraser, Flood Fill, Glitter Tube, Gloop Pen.
Each tool has a range of settings that reflect familiar properties such as paint thinners or pencil tip softness. Tools apply texture as well as color, and blend under the brush.
Add unlimited Layers to your painting, adjust visibility and opacity, rearrange and merge. ArtRage also supports a full range of Photoshop Layer Blend Modes.
Interface:
Designed for compact operation at different resolutions and screen orientations. The interface has been designed to maximize your creative space without hiding away critical functions such as tool and color selection. As you paint, it gets out of the way so that you don’t have to stop and manually adjust panels. With support for Multi-Touch gestures for canvas manipulation, Undo/Redo, and Brush Size, important shortcuts are available without needing menus. Also supports Stylus-only mode to avoid accidental finger painting.

ArtRage for Android requires access to storage, camera, and media on your device in order to load, open, export, and import resources for ArtRage. It requires network and licence connections for the Google Play licencing and PEN.UP.

Download ArtRage: Draw, Paint, Create APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.ambientdesign.artrage.playstore-v1.4.5-ApkClean.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

2 ★I have bought a lot of art apps. usually they are free and I upgrade for all functions and to support developers. with this I had to pay to use it. honestly? there are better apps out there. this one isn't intuitive to use. maybe good for kids. if there are extra brushes it wasn't obvious. as an artist you need swifter access to swap. maybe suitable for young . to developers, had you had a free version to try like other apps my expectations might not have been so high. dissapointing.
5 ★this app might just be the most accurate and true to its nature of replica of the?mo$t beautifully set studio, giving me free reign to explore, using the wide array of possible painting technique that seem to be limitless. 5 ★I've tried many art programs and most are deleted almost as quickly as i had uploaded them. Either they are too hard to use or they just dont have the right set of tools (even worse, the same old basic tools as everyone else). ARTRAGE HAS NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS! I simply Love love love this app!!! By far the best drawing app out there as far as a realistic feel for the medium meeting the canvas as well as an ease of use that is rare to find. My only complaint, not enough upgrades! More plz!
1 ★Extreme Lag! Im using a Samsung Note. Purchased full version & spent last night & most of a day on this app, doing ONE colouring-in drawing! Touching screen with pen to response time causes a lot of frustration. Does not go anywhere near your pen point either. Spent most of my time in zoom & undo. Hovering over a button does not give information. Color range is fantastic. IT TAKES THE JOY OUT OF ARTISTIC EXPRESSION! I had more fun in Pinup but wanted a bit more features to express my art.
1 ★I was planning on resetting my Chromebook. Before I did this however, I backed up all of my drawings from ArtRage. However, when trying to open up these files now, they won't open in any program, including Art Rage. Nothing will open them because of the weird extension that all the files automatically saved with. Just lost like 5 months worth of work. ArtRage is truly Rage Inducing, thats for sure.
1 ★This app is terrible it doesn't even have a select tool it's low quality and for some reason I had to pay 5 bucks FOR THIS?? this app is terrible I don't recommend there are much better apps like Ibis paint x that have everything you need so please don't download unless you wanna waste your money
5 ★ArtRage is really good at making beautiful realistic paintings. The brushes are very straight forward and quite realistic. The layers work really well and the canvas options are quite varied and amazing. If you are looking to use this for general digital art, like comics, I wouldn't suggest it and would suggest Infinite Painter instead, but if you are looking to make really easy beautiful artwork this is definitely the app for you.
2 ★Brushes are finicky and although you can customize them its still hard. I lost about 2 hours of progress because I thought when I hit new canvas it would save the old one. It did not. Saving graces are a pretty good interface, and the fact that although there are only a handful of brushes they are decent. Didn't really notice any change between free version and paid. 2 stars.
5 ★After all is said and done. This is the best app for natural painting that resembles actual media. Other paint apps brushes are flat variousations of flat paint.
3 ★A great program that i purchased, though i found one major flaw in it, possibly two cuz i use artflow now and dont remember if the second flaw was there. The first flaw that made me use artflow instead was that there was no tool that allowed you to select sections of the picture on the canvas and move and manipulate that selected section of the picture, instead it only lets u select and manipulate the whole canvas. The second was not being able two insert text and format the text on the canvas.
5 ★Cool app where you get to make nice and creative artwork, there is also a way to make animations with it!
3 ★I love this app however i do feel like if your traceing something then you should be able to move it around. Not the canvase it does make me a little irratated about that. Other apps that invlove art let you move it around and they are free and this costed about 5 dollars the least they could do is let you move the art around insted of the canvase
