IMI (Islamic Media International Ltd.) gives you a new and enjoyable concept for representation of the Islamic prayer times on a smart watch-face. The 5 daily prayers are shown on a 24-hour watch-face using the 5 edges of a pentagram. It changes by season and depending on your location.The hours are represented by modern European numbers (originally Western Arabic) and the minutes in traditional Arabic numerals. The short hand points out the hour and moves around 360 degrees in 24 hours. The long hand points at the minutes and moves around 360 degrees in an hour like on a conventional watch. The longest hand represents the seconds.
The numbers 1-60 are outlined in traditional Arabic numbers. At 0 hours there is also an Arabic 60 and at 12 hours there is also an Arabic 30. Please consider that the watch is most reliable and the prayer-alerts are best if the Bluetooth-connection between the watch and android phone is maintained at all times.
Instructions:
You need to install Android Wear on your Android smart-phone and own a smart-watch that is compatible with it. Open your Bluetooth connection and connect your watch. Also enable location services. Then download and install the app. The watch picks up your location and calculates the prayer times. Alternatively you can choose them manually. Go to the settings on the watch and change watch-face. Afterwards you choose the settings tab below the watch-face icon. Choose Set Location and you can choose your country, region and city. As a Method you can choose between Shafi and Hanafi. As Prayer Notification you can choose between Off, Default and Adhan.

In the future we are planning to offer you the choice of Islamic and European/Gregorian calendar and a multitude of colours and patterns, with customisable shapes, numbers as well as moon- and sun phases and festival alerts such as Eid, 10th Moharram and Ramadhan/Hadj.
