Description

Keyboard for keyboard-less phones like Nexus One. Allow you to type on your phone using your computer's browser.
It works as ordinary input method. In example, you can use it in terminal or to type SMS.
Use WiFi for low latency input. 3G may be blocked by some carriers. USB connection works best, but require some technical knowledge and connected cable.
Source Code is available under GPL2 licence.

2.3.5:
- Enter should work fine again. If it still broken, I'll disable submit on enter for single-line inputs.

2.3.4:
- Disable full screen mode in landscape
- New key combinations supported: Ctrl-Del, Ctrl-Backspace.
- No need to press "submit" button anymore. Enter will submit single-line messages, Ctrl-Enter will submit multiline messages.

5 ★While not perfect it is still a must have keyboard app. Highly Recommended. Its very easy to copy/paste some stuff from computer into the phone (for example from my KeePass key safe). With the [F4] key you can even go from the phone to the PC as it copies the entire input field to your browser for editing. Still working after all these years (without updates) on my OnePlus 5T on android 9

4 ★Great keyboard application for the nexus 4. I use it to type out quick texts when at my computer and it works very well. Only complaint is that my screen still dims (not turn off completely) while typing with the app. As you can only see the text on the phone this is an issue and I constantly have to keep moving the phone to see what I am typing. If this could be fixed or let me see what Im typing in the browser then it would be 5 stars easy.

3 ★This is a very good app in theory, but in practice not so much. Would be useful in sending long emails, but if I am at my desktop ill send the email from there anyway. When using Whatsapp / SMS I have to return to the phone to select emotions, and to send the message. So in practice I am going from desktop to phone, back & forth. Makes the whole process longer. Uninstalled.

3 ★I'll keep everything concise: the application is great and does everything it adverties that it does. Pros: you can use your PC's keyboard to send keystrokes and even submit messages in text apps like Whatsapp (via the CTRL-ENTER shortcut). This is something that most other applications lack. One problem that I did encounter was the fact that, while typing, the device is not aware that you are using it and the screen dimms after a while and even turns off. After improving this, I'll give it 5 stars.

4 ★I've been using this app for quite a while now. I'd sure recommend this to anyone who'd like the ease of using full PC keyboard to type on phone and having basic control featureless with extra bells & whistles. Missing star: why's the widget changed to 2x2. It was good the way it was.
