Description

Planetscope is a useful reference tool that calculates the positions of the 8 major planets as they orbit around the Sun, as well as the Moon's orbit around the Earth, displaying the results on 3 different views:

- Top-down 'orrery' view showing the relative locations of the planets to each other and to the Sun.
- Sky view, showing the planets locations in the sky, as viewed from your current GPS location.
- Data view, giving detailed readouts for each planet/object

The display can be speeded-up, fast-forwarding the planets' motion to help predict interesting astronomical events and to visualise various concepts about how our Solar System works.

The readings calculated for each object include Rise/Set times, Altitude/Azimuth, Right Ascension/Declination, Distances from Earth/Sun, Apparent Magnitude/Apparent Diameter, Elongation and Phase. Objects shown: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. All readings are calculated in real-time within the program (no internet connection is required).

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Small app but big knowledge
5 ★I am not a paid reviews person. But this has the exact view of how the planets align today and if you wish in the future. But it's in real time. Not a simulator you can't stop and keep it as it happens. 5 stars very nice. I will add that it only asks to use your WiFi connection and is not all up in your business asking for permission for camera and pictures etc. Had to add to this cause this program totally rocks. The orbit shapes are spot on just a beautiful job. Thanks for the first app like this.
5 ★Very instructive and lightweight. The UI is not modern and some featuresmay not be obvious at first (hint: web page contains completedocumentation), but still good and hey it is free and ad-free. I like theanimated diagram of Sun-Earth-Moon relationship (a picture is worth athousand words and an animated picture is worth a thousand still pictures).
5 ★Love it! Nice to have so much information available. I would like to include Pluto even if it isn't a planet. I think it is large enough to make a difference. Thank you!!!
5 ★5🌟 This is absolutely incredible, the accuracy of this model alignsperfectly with reality! Test it with your telescope! No ads, no bull, straight to the point! Thank you so much for this! I look forward to anyimprovements.
5 ★Great! Appears accurate, easy to use and very informative.
3 ★Pluto is an asteroid. It once was classed a planet I believe.
