Description
Light weight app that notifies user at user defined battery levels to either charge the device, or to unplug and stop charging. This helps in observing the 40-80 rule of Li-ion batteries.Most battery apps on the market only notify when the battery is fully charged, but only a few that notify user at user defined battery levels, and even fewer, if any, that can do so accurately with very little resource. That's why we wrote this app.
The reason why we want to stop charging before a battery is fully charged is to extend the lifespan of the battery. Virtually all mobile devices nowadays uses Lithium batteries and Lithium batteries work best when they are charged in the middle range, say 40% to 80% or 50% to 75%. So if you are really particular about optimizing and extending your battery's lifespan, Battery Charge Notifier could help you achieve it.

◆◆◆ Known Issues ◆◆◆
◆ Issue: If the selected notification sound is located on an external storage (e.g. on a micro-SD card), no notifications will be triggered. This is due to the fact that our app currently doesn't require the permission to read external storage.
Solution: To workaround this issue, the user can move the sound file from the external storage to the internal storage. We are working on requesting this permission as necessary on a future release.
◆ On Android 5.1.1 or order, the Battery Optimization warning is shown on the settings page despite the fact that Battery Optimization isn't available until after Android 6.0.
Solution: Nothing needs to be done as the message is harmless. We will remove this message accordingly for Android versions before 6.0.

◆ Q: Why is there a persistent notification icon starting from version 3.0.12, on Android 8.0 and above?
A: The persistent notification icon is there mainly to serve two purposes. 1) To let the user know that battery levels are being monitored, 2) A Google requirement which requires all background running apps to show a user noticeable notification.
◆ Q: Is there a way to remove the "persistent notification icon"?
A: Yes! Simply go to Android Settings, Apps & notifications, Battery Charge Notifier, Notifications, and disable the notification channel called "Battery Level Monitor Service".

5 ★Love it!! Just what I am looking for.It has reminders that you can see and hear and you can set the amount of time the reminders go off and you can change the colors and sound of the reminders. No popup ads and the app runs automatically without you having to start it. Very easy to use
4 ★I like this app and used it for about a year until today when my phone wouldn't charge because it said that it detected moisture in the charging port but the phone didn't get wet. I tried everything then I removed this software and now my phone charges again. I'll try re-installing it later but for now I need my phone to charge. This app quit working on the last Android Update. I had to uninstall it. I like this app better than any of the others but it doesn't alert on charg or discharge % now.
5 ★Perfect. This is the most direct, unobtrusive, clean way to get battery-level-based notifications and alarms! It took me way too long to find it, the store it filled with horrible, ad-filled, ugly, and otherwise bloated or bad apps. This one is what I wanted all along.

5 ★excellent features has great potential. separate control of charging and discharging notifications. also quiet time where notifications off. on Oppo mirror 5 s EDIT Oppo has a hard to find auto run menu. instructions are open SECURITY CENTER app then choose PRIVACY PERMISSIONS then scroll down to AUTO-RUN MANAGEMENT then find battery charge notifier i the app list and enable it.. after that start battery charge notifier, then long press the left key on phone scroll left or right till battery charge notifyer is visible and swipe down on the app. a green locked padlock appears on the app. now it will start automatically.
4 ★I rely on this one all the time. Suggestion to the developer though: Turn on "too low" notifications while charging. On odd occasion, I find myself really, really low, and until the charge gets above the "low" threshold, the app buzzes and chimes wildly that my SOC is too low. Oops, yes, I meant turn *off* "too low" notifications when charging. My SOC is rarely lower than the app's Low Notification setting, but on occasion when it's way lower, when charging, and until it gets above the low...
5 ★great app. do as it described. low memory usage. 2 suggestions: 1. should have battery indicator in notification bar to show the app are running. 2. should have option to delay alarm 5-20minutes after it reach 100% coz i like the idea of stabilizing the power voltage due to fast charging technology now days
3 ★It used to work very well, but after uninstall and reinstall it stoped to work. My wife has a samsung s9 and in her phone it never worked. In resume, it doesn't notify when is discharging and neither when charging. Obs.: (Battey optimization and all others samsung's save battery features is disable for this app)

Is it possible to add Screen on Time to see how much it was running since the last charge? I would pay for that feature :D Short charges doesn't reset the timer in the native battery app.

3 ★At first it was working though it's not that accurate like it doesn't alarm when I set the discharge nofit to 40. But when my phone got updated its miui to 10, it didn't work at all. Specially the charging notif. Hope you can fix it. I really really love this app before my ui was updated. By the way I'm a xaomi user. The model of my phone is redmi note 6 pro
