4 ★Great app to have if you're planning on traveling within Australia. I also use it daily to check my local conditions. Well worth the meagre amount to remove the ads too.
1 ★Won't let me choose an accurate location, via gps or manually. I'm in the Pilbara in WA but this app won't let me see anything other than Sydney. No stars
5 ★Thanks for this app Leon, simple, clear, concise elegant. Well worth the $2. Two possible suggestions (1) improve the load time. It seems to stick on the blue intro screen for a very long time? Maybe even have the app progress to the info page with a place holder for the map as the app loads in the background. This will give the impression of it loading faster. (2) include a pinch to zoom option. The current tap to zoom works well once you get used it, but is not intuitive to new users. Cheers.

5 ★This app is very accurate as it gets its data from BOM. However with regard to my area it is more accurate than BoMs radar. I love the location feature because I can clearly see my location in relation to the rain cells, unlike BoM radars in which locations are obliterated by the rain cells. I also like the feature of it following you when you travel instead of having to find the nearest radar on the BOM site. Again this app pin points your location accurately. Well done. Keep up the great work and I look forward to this app being developed further to include new features.
5 ★I love your app. I have a suggestion. Would it be able to add a measuring option where you can click on the map at 2 points and it can tell you how long it will take for the rain to reach another point based on the time it took to cover the distance between the 2 points. It works be so helpful to predict when the rain will arrive. Keep up the good work. Heinrich
3 ★The app itself is good...in that it is simple and just gives you the Radar view instantly...great for that. Probably should have rated it as 2 stars because of the pervasive ads...it often covers the entire screen as soon as you start the app...such that I think I must have pressed the wrong button..so pressing the back or Escape key...the ad closes and the Radar app appears. Totally inappropriate..so I have it on my phone in the hope the Dev. changes it some day...then and only then will I pay
5 ★I check the weather about 600 times a day for my job - this app beats everything else I've used. You get a GPS pin over your rain radar. The app picks up your location and loads the associated data quickly. All the info I need is either on the first screen or one tap away. Battery drain is low. Totally worth the $1.99 for the ad free version. Good job, mate - you nailed it.
5 ★Excellent app. The free version: loud audio ads early morning. My first use of the day is in bed to check the weather and that's the mostly likely time a loud 5 second audio ad appears which wakes up my wife. Otherwise the simplicity and usability is great. If it had a synoptic chart I'd be more inclined to buy it. *update* as it only cost $2, i decided to buy the app to remove the ads. Good value for $ thanks
4 ★Great quick-loading rain forecast. Beats pulling up a full data-heavy weather app in rural Vic to follow approaching rain patterns. Great on farm. Would love app to include a 1000km radius map to provide a broader, though still locally relevant, perspective on approaching system patterns across from the west. Otherwise excellent app. Thank you!
4 ★Very good. A simplified version, using BOM data. Wx radar is straight from BOM. Easy to use with all the essential, basic info. without the complexity and intricate detail of the BOM site. Highly recommended for the occasion where all you want is a quick look at the basics of the weather, without the clutter. 4.5 stars
3 ★Good app spoiled by Ads even though I've paid the money to remove them. I don't get as many as I used to but they still pop up fairly frequently and it was a payment I understood to REMOVE the Ads completely. Other reviews concur the Ad sound is annoying especially as we often browse when in the company of others doing other things. It's a shame as this app is otherwise more user friendly than BOMs own website, but I'm considering returning to BOMs ad-free platform now.
