5 ★It's a solid port with minimal slip ups, and you can get rid of all ads for the three games for 5 bucks or 2 dollars individually which is 100% worth it. Even with the ads though they only play if you pause or save, which isnt too intrusive.
2 ★Better use the original hardware or any emulator. Shining force 1 and 2 as well as shining in the darkness are great games but lack a lot of the former glory when played in this emulator due to intolerable imprecision of the movement controls. Emulator or hardware also means no ADnoyance and full screen graphics.
1 ★Ads play fine but the game won't load. Funny how that works. I bought all three games for US $4.99 and now it works fine. Once again, funny how that works.
4 ★Classic childhood memories coming back in full shining force, the controls on here are a little wonky but what mobile port doesnt have that issue ? Oh duh i deleted the game because i had to have internet on to watch an ad so i could load my game and i wanted to play offline and could'nt, great port none thee less👍

5 ★My favorite game growing up and it is still just as great as I remember. I don't mind the ads when I save and start my game I don't mind them making a bit of money for giving a awesome game for free.

5 ★Great mod of a classic game, they don't make em like they used too. Turn based RPG with a great story and endless supply of great characters.
3 ★I've always loved the Shining Force Saga would have gave this game set up a five star if it actually saved your game data where you left off I put three and a half hours enter Shining Force 2 and it put me at 16 minutes my log back in
3 ★Changing from one star to three. I was completely frustrated after losing my "saves". But I've figured out the issue. Part of it was user error, part of it was game design. The in-game save just doesn't work at all. I've tested it with a couple of new games, and there's never any way to find it after you save. The added save system looks like it's going to save but doesn't initially. It comes up with a slot selection, but when I clicked a slot to save the game, a "wait" screen comes up. This is where I thought it was saving the game. It's actually trying to log on to the game server. So when I think I've saved, I've only just signed in to the server (which disconnects regularly after a short period of time). I have to again click on a save slot to actually then save the game. I did go through what I thought were multiple saves where I returned to my game and loaded my save. But it wasn't actually saving the game into a save slot. I was able to save because I wasn't on wifi (on a tablet without mobile data). So it saved it, so that I could return and play while not being on wifi. I was able to return to the game and it would load, what I'll call a "temporary save." But never actually saved the game There are some poor design choices in the save process. The game has the capability to save to when it's not signed in for you to return to it, but when your on a network it insteads feigns the save process by interrupting your attempt to save so that it can sign in, and after signing in, instead of saving as initially attempted, it takes you back to re-select a save slot. May want to consider correcting that.
5 ★This ap contains three classic SEGA RPGs in one bundle. While I haven't played far into any of the three games in this incarnation yet, I love how true to the original games it seems. The "save anywhere" feature is a much-needed modern improvement. No more being caught in the middle of a protracted battle, only to have to quit for other reasons. About the only improvement that could have been made is a more mobile-friendly interface. Even using D-Pad and buttons, this is a great nostalgia trip.
3 ★I was so happy to find this game. It's the only rpg game I liked from back in the day. Looks great but one big fail is the save function. The in game save options don't work. Whatever, no biggie. But the other save option fails tons of time. I'm afraid to actually play the game now. No one wants to spend hours play, only to save come back and find out you're starting all over again. Guess I'll just have to hope they fix it one day. Until then I say pass this game up, it's not worth otherwise you might end up wasting time.
