How to install The Great Courses APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download The Great Courses APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

5 ★Easy to use. Have not experienced any glitches. Enjoy listening to courses in the car.
4 ★So far, I have only watched seven downloaded lectures, on Gnosticism. The app worked well, displaying horizontally (landscape), on my Moto G Power's 6.4 inch screen. Ran well, not jerky, no buffering. Audio out over Bluetooth to my RAV4' s speakers. Good sound. Feb 2021. App doesn't work on my HP Chromebook. It didn't request permission to use my Internet, won't login without Internet connection. Can't find any way to give it permission on Chromebook.
5 ★The app is easy to use but the fact that it forces landscape mode and turns off auto rotate is infuriating. Why?! When I'm looking through my library I do NOT want landscape mode. When I'm watching a course I do. Let me choose for crying out loud. Who thought turning off an Android system function was a good idea? Fire that developer.
4 ★I have been using The Great Courses for some time now. I do wish that there quizzes after each section to see much that I have retained or what the instructor felt was the important topics where from that section. Some of the courses do that in the accompanying book and some don't. For that I would recommend something like the Coursera app
3 ★With a number of lectures, we've found that after pausing or rewinding a few times, the app crags and we have to restart. In the course of a handful of lectures, it's happened maybe 50 times. Otherwise, the app functions as one might expect.
5 ★I love listening to Dr. Bartlett and his excellent presentation of The Italian Renaissance. I enjoy reviewing the outline of the coming chapter and then diving in on my phone.
4 ★Excellent material and lecturers that really know their stuff. Functionality of the app could be improved - it doesn't always return to where I left off after a break in listening and sometimes doesn't even go back to the lecture I was listening to. Otherwise they're very good.
5 ★See Orin Holt Review of 7/06/20. Contact with Great Courses in Sept indicates the last update to this app was in May of 2020. Ver 6.2.1. and requires Android OS 6.x to login. My tablets, all were 4.2.2 Android. They all worked well until a sudden halt months later. No resolution was ever made by Great Cources Bad for site. No plus! No help.Think! All courses usless on tablet . Finally got one tablet upgraded to Android 6.0 . Could log in on laptop via web site but inconvenient viewing.
1 ★Awful. I can't find the courses advertised on line. I uninstalled immediately. I was willing to pay for courses I saw advertised but the search function turned up nil.
5 ★Although I do my course work primarily on my computer at home, this is an excellent way to sneak in a lecture particularly for subjects that don't have a high graphic content.

5 ★A fabulous product. Ihave bought dozens over the yesrs. At age 93 learning something new or in more depth becomes an increasing blessing. I recommend The Grest Courses without reservation. It is a fact that those who have a brain and don't use it are feeble minded and stupid at best.
