School Sports Promotion Foundation [SSPF]An initiative by The Gurukul Trust, School Sports Promotion Foundation [S S P F] is a non-profit philanthropic body. In partnership with the Sports Authoirty of India, [S A I]
S S P F has launched National Talent Search & Nurture initiative with the following objectives:
Search the talent through structured & Sustained Tournaments to be conducted every year.
Nurture the talent through organized coaching camps at District, State and National Level.
In doing so, it will:
• Scout for best talents at all levels by conducting sports competitions / tournaments.
• Identify resources, support and coaches for each discipline.
• Identify, coordinate and improve usage of existing infrastructure.
• Arrange to provide top class coaching at district, state and national level
• Create and build teams at all platforms, including national and International levels.
• Forge alliances and partnerships with individuals, sports bodies worldwide, governments, and educational institutions and just about anybody else who can support and sustain the cause of sports and sportspersons.
Through the process of Tournaments the foundation will identify talent and take them through the District, State, Zonal and National levels of competitive sports.
As the next step, the coaching camps at the corresponding levels will provide appropriate levels of coaching & physical training to those selected for these camps.
The Zonal, State, District and Cluster Coordinators, will work together with schools in identifying and nurturing talent.
Selectors, Umpires, Referees, Match Officials will spot talented players who would be called for field trials upon the conclusion of District, State & National Level Tournaments.
Those Probables finally selected in the field trials will undergo well organized coaching camps at the District, State and National level.
Upon the conclusion of the coaching camp, at which ever level, the final District, State or National Team shall be declared, as may be the case.
We are here to redefine the sports development in India no one has ever seen, no one has ever tried & no one has ever thought of implementing.
