1 ★This allows a connection between your phone and the Dash Cam 500. However it ONLY allows a WiFi connection. Which disables the LTE and other network connections. You can either connect to the camera and have a dumb phone OR you can disconnect from the camera and have a Smartphone. You can't have both. You also cannot download updates for the camera since it requires a connection to the phone to do so.
1 ★Can not access live or recorded video since update. Can only access settings. Makes app virtually useless. **UPDATE** App now immediately crashes upon opening. Completely useless.
3 ★I purchased the dash cam at the mats 2019. I love everything about it and especially that you can hook to Wireless. I hooked this device up to my Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 which I was told I could do. It worked well for about a week and a half, and now it says it's connected but it will not pull any videos off and you cannot operate any functions. I ended up hooking it up to my Android Moto Z and it works fine. With current reviews obviously this device will not work with Samsung products.
2 ★3rd McNally device, they all failed within a year. This one seems to have a WiFi issue between the camera and app on Android 9 not allowing them to communicate. Either a hardware issue on the device, or software issue with the app or Android OS. My issue coincided with Android OS 8 to 9 update. Beyond the usual clear cache, factor and hardware resets, McNally's remaining solution was to RMA. 1 year warranty - keep your receipts! When the app worked, it was decent. Device still works and functions by itself or as a USB drive. Email support did not respond.
1 ★I though I was the only one with the problem, reviewing customers comments, find that I'm alone, the app or the cam that does not let me see, download or do anything from my "galaxy note 9". Only works the first 2 weeks, after that, become un a total disgusting product, the problem I have here is, calling customer service all their answer is: "I'm sorry". Please tell me, when some one fixed a problem with: "I'm sorry?", Not on this case, I already spend the money and get a product from garbage.

1 ★The app worked fine for 3 days then it stopped letting me see live video or any of the videos or pics it has on the device. Please give this an update and fix the bugs on the app. Just bought this 3 days ago. I might return it and find a better one that will do what i need.

2 ★Upgraded phone to the Samsung s20 5g ultra and the app keeps closing unable to access the camera to upload videos. Didn't have this issue with my note 8.

1 ★50% of the time it won't connect my phone to the camera. I have the Galaxy Note 9. When it does its EXTREMELY laggy. The camera itself is a big disappointment, as well, with terrible night time quality & no speed display even though it has GPS.
